Tim Bradley basically confirmed your words recently ;) About the level of boxing at different times. Everything is relative and depends largely on personal preferences. But in the 50-80s in professional boxing there were no (until the 90s) boxers from Eastern Europe in professional boxing, and they would have definitely been competition. And the results, most likely, would have been a little different. And the champions, perhaps, would have been different. Canelo lost to his "Fury" - Bivol. Who was much bigger. Won against Kovalev (there are questions about Kovalev's form). Usyk won, twice, and twice more against Joshua. 2-1 for Usyk :) PS: 8-4 ;)
