So I’m applying as an instate freshman with around 30 hours of college credit. I’m applying to Biology for first choice and second choice is Geological Science. I’m not in top 6% but I’m in top 8% at rank 11/148. My sat is pretty mediocre at 1220 😬😬. I have a ton of school activities that I do including President of a club and I have a ton of vollunteer hours.i have taken every AP Class at my school which is around 10 Ap classes and I’ve taken 4 years of Spanish and I’ve taken AP stats and AP Calculas. I’m currently taking a class with UT Austin as an on-ramps student in chemistry and I have 24 hours of college credit from Dual enrollment.

biology along with computer science are the most competitive majors at UT Austin, so I'm not sure. I think your sat score is hurting you a lot, that's just my opinion tho so it might not be true.
