My wife and I enjoy your channel! Until recently, we had a Class B much the same as yours. We sold it to accommodate grandkids and bought a travel trailer. It is an unexpected joy to be able to unhook and explore in our 4wd truck without taking the whole show along. We recently moved to Utah and have been exploring many of the places you show...and more are head. I also got an unexpected trick watching you tie hiking boot laces...that really works! No more double knots and no more loose laces. Thanks! We enjoy your photography and choice of music. Keep up the great work!

Debbie- just wow! Where do I start? Some of the best (if not the best-and you have done some great shots) cinematography you have done. Music was spot on. For some reason, I felt like this was a different video than you have done previously. So much going on-as if you had a camera man/woman with you. So many techniques being used but you didn’t overuse them. The beginning was stunning-something you would expect from 4k and National Geographic. I will continue to say, the more John, the better. I can give you nothing more than two thumbs up, way up.

Another wonderful video. Wow. Five days at Monument Valley. We were there in 2016 in our Honda Odyssey just before we got our RV. I remember a tribal campground right on the rim/entrance to the valley. Is that no longer open? We enjoyed Sunrise set up in Ansel Adam’s tripod holes. Drove the road in our van and was thinking about doing it again in our 25 ft Sprinter-based RV. What do you think? The next night we continued to Canyon de Chelly and spent the night in a Hogan before taking a guided drive into the Canyon. Love this area❤️
@FromShetoMe3 жыл бұрын
I don’t know if that campground is open. May be closed because of Covid. The Navajo were hit hard. They lost too many elders. They now have the highest vaccination. As far as driving. There were a few side roads that I would not have wanted to be on without extra ground clearance. Much depends on when they had their last storm and whether they have had a chance to grade. You can ask when you get there.

We have ordered a Class B built on a Sprinter van chassis and expect delivery May 2022 🤞🏻 In the meantime, your great videos are enabling us to travel vicariously. We have looked at your Amazon page and started a wish list. One question…besides an iPhone, are you using equipment like a mirror less SLR camera? Your videos are both artistically and technically great. I was in Moab right after you were 😊

Wow this was a beautiful trip that I will have to put on my bucket list. Do you know what your actual clearance is on your Van? I have a Promaster 3500 and I'm not sure the clearance is high enough with a 159" wheelbase. I have no idea what the specs means so I will have to physically measure the height on my van. Loved the way you matched the music to the scenes too!
@FromShetoMe3 жыл бұрын
We had a suspension upgrade package done to our van several years ago along with bigger tires which both lifted the van a few inches (3.5 in back/2.5 in front). The lowest part of our rig is the generator. From the ground to the generator is about 9". The main road was fine. But some of the side roads we traveled on were in pretty rough shape. If you go during nice weather, you may actually enjoy a guided tour. Not only do they get priority in entering (and the line can get long), but you'll probably learn so much more.
@lorraineanderson1493 жыл бұрын

@@FromShetoMe I have trouble with sound coming up through the tripod onto my GP footage. . Do you have any product suggestions? I've used a few tripods sizes for walking and talking into the camera and all seem to pick up my hand moving on it. Do you have that issue? Is there a padded handle or something you could recommend? Thanks for the link I put it in my basket.
@FromShetoMe3 жыл бұрын
I only use the GP for B roll so don’t have much experience with its audio. But there is a mic that can be attached to the camera that might solve that problem.

How do you manage cooking odors, moisture and residue in the van?
