I'm only half way thru this vid and just had to comment on the fantastic job you did filming the landscape. I mean its a great trip on the bikes but more so I gotta give you massive credit for the camera work. Well done mate you composed the scenery together with the bikes in motion which isn't the easies thing to do but you nailed it again and again. I am a big fan of your effort to constantly scan the area whilst riding to get the shot, then turn around, set up the camera, frame the landscape, maybe a few runs past the camera to get it right, break it all down and repeat multiple times over and over. It is a massive effort hence why most people don't want to do it but thanks for taking the time. Of course you enjoy it so its no effort at all but I and I'm sure all who watch appreciate the huge effort especially for those of us who don't live in the area let alone country. Cheers from Sydney and Happy safe riding.

Thanks! You’re right, it is a lot of effort but when it is fun it does not feel like work at all!

Since then I have been exploring the dirt roads and trails of New England and loving every second of it. Thank you for sharing your adventures! Never stop.

One thing that you proved, is the importance of not travelling alone. When the bike got stuck you were able to work together and get it out. Another thing that you showed to riders who may not know, was at least one way to successfully get that bike out by rolling it over and filling the hole with sand. Even if you only help one person, that could possibly save that persons life. Beautiful scenery and excellent photography as usual, terrific video. Thanks
@SterlingNoren3 жыл бұрын
Thank you David. Teamwork is awesome in these situations. It makes things so much easier. The "fill the hole" technique works really well and helped me out a lot when I learned it.

Burr Trail, from Bullfrog to Boulder, is similar to Moki/Gods and you're likely to have it to yourself. It has side options if it's not challenging enough. It joins Hell's Backbone which is a world-class twisty. Spectacular camera work at 8:05. Double amazing that you didn't have a crew.

Great adventure ride Sterling and Eva. I'd love to see you guys ride the Burr Trail from Bullfrog Marina up to Boulder, UT. one of these times. I plan to ride that section in the not too distant future. When Eva was talking about using her wench to extract her bike from the sand, I was curious if you had an anchor point nearby to accommodate the wench? Good stuff.
