I'm so glad they gave you a medal. Definately not a failed attempt. You got round the whole course on your own and did a great job, well done!

@@andyQ123 Thank you 😊 I'm still proud I finished and definitely happy I still got a medal. I'm going back to do it again next year. Hopefully I won't be injured this time and finish within the cut-off. Have you or are you planning on running it?

Well done, really not a fail! You completed the course and got a medal, a great achievement 😊

Thank you. I feel like it was a huge achievement just crossing the finish line. I will make it within the cut-off next time 😁

Wow, those trails are so steep! You did so well getting through such a tough race. I'm glad that you were still able to get a medal. You really deserved it after putting in so much effort! Those views are incredible! I would love to visit and climb snowden one day

Thank you! It was absolutely beautiful there and definitely worth visiting. It was very tough trying to finish and I wish I could've prepared better for the race. Hopefully I can go back and run a faster time 🤞🏻 Would you consider running this race?
@JPruns6 ай бұрын
Yeah, i would definitely consider doing it one day, the race looks like a lot of fun. Are you thinking about doing any other UTMB races in the future?

Definitely not a fail in my eyes. Great video, as someone considering doing the event but a little unsure your experience and perspective is very very helpful.

Thank you 🤗 It's definitely worth doing. It'll be an experience and the views are amazing. I'm back to do it again next year, hoping to make it within the cut-off and hopefully no injuries this time to prevent me from training 🤞🏻

Still a great accomplishment. You're always running against yourself not other runners. Your viewers are proud of you. Thumbs up.

Thank you 😊 It was really hard but I enjoyed the challenge. I always look back at difficult races and remind myself I can do hard things, and that I don't give up easily 😁

Some of those hills looked like a prime location for rolling your ankle. The elevation gains on Snowdonia are brutal. Congrats getting it done!! =D Super cool looking medal :D
@YuennyLam6 ай бұрын
The ankles have had a good workout for sure and the elevation was indeed brutal. We started climbing quite early on and it just doesn't stop until you get to the top. Really worth doing though for the views, and of course the medal 😁

Unbelievable run. Especially after doing Manchester a few weeks ago. After some hill practice you would easily finish before the cut off. Good luck with your running

Thank you! I knew I haven't trained enough for this race due to the injuries, but I was so happy to just finish. Thanks for the lovely message and good luck to you too!

Another awesome achievement. Which medal are you prouder of, Manchester or UTS25? They are both indicators of an incredible amount of training and dedication. Even if you don't want/need the UTS stones, it would still have been great to see a result on the website. Next year maybe? The views looked incredible, although a little too hot maybe. I have heard other people say the downhill is more difficult than the uphill. I'm definitely going to sign up (unless I get into London again - which is unlikely). 👍
@YuennyLam6 ай бұрын
Thank you! I still think I'm prouder of the Manchester medal because it took a lot of time and hard work, both physically and mentally, to get to the start line. The UTS was really really hard on the day, but I didn't feel like I have put in as much time to prepare for it (although I would've loved to have prepared more). I will definitely consider trying again next year, depending on what other races I have on around the same time. It certainly was a bit too hot, but if the weather was really bad then it would've been a different kind of challenge I think. I highly recommend it and I hope you'll do it next year.

Thank you 😊 It was really hard and I get why they're a bit strict with their stones. I guess it gives me a reason to go back and try again. Hopefully next time I'll be better prepared and not be injured weeks beforehand. Are you looking to collect stones?
