I'm glad to see our youth being politically active and not just quietly taking it but I have major questions about their strategy. If you are unhappy about what's going on in the middle east or Boeing is doing why are you taking it out on the school? What does the university have to do with the Middle East/Boeing? I really don't get it. You should be protesting in Olympia or at the Boeing Factory, believe me there are unhappy workers there that would welcome you're support. I'm guessing you're afraid that if you protest in Olympia/Boeing you will be arrested and you are right to worry about that and you need numbers, they can't arrest an entire crowd. Despite what you hear almost all sidewalks are public property you can peacefully protest there without fear. I've heard some of leaders say that some of the most effective protests in history were illegal and again you are right but if you going to push the boundaries you need to have numbers, you need to have alot of public support, you need to understand the risk you are taking and you need to keep innocent people and businesses out of the fray. During COVID I wanted to protest more but I often didn't know where and when peaceful protests were occuring you need to do a better job of getting the word out. Finally don't block roads and keep ordinary people from getting where they need to go. If you create a traffic jam I'm going to get mad and be much less likely to support you're cause.
