I'm glad it inspired you! There were mixed ages in my group to be fair. Once you sign up they will evaluate everyone and make sure there are fair fights in place, if there is no one around your age/ability they may try find a replacement or turn you away. You'll never know unless you sign up🥊

Nice, good luck for your fight! There will always be an adrenaline rush on fight night compared to sparring, nerves show you care, but just try to keep calm, remember all your hard work and turn it into motivation to do your best. Goes without saying that the more sparring with different people you do the less unknown the ring will feel on fight night

Was proper hyped up to sign up for it but finding out that all ticket sales will go towards the event organizers and not the charity was a bit disheartening considering how much the tickets are...

Agreed, but I guess they still need to pay for the venue, all the hospitality/event staff and 8 weeks’ worth of coaching etc although it could be voluntary

I signed up for an event in July. Just wondering what happens if you can’t sell many tickets and how many tickets do they give you to sell?

You can sell as many standing tickets as you want, however there are limits to tables, which usually need to be secured with a deposit. You are encouraged to try and sell the minimum amount (10 I believe from memory). I can't see them turning you away if you can't get the numbers as long as you actually try to sell them.
