There's a couple of questions I have after watching: What exactly is the background section supposed to be about? So creating a feature for a existing design is not ux? I'm considering getting feedback from you about my portfolio but now I'm not as confident in it anymore lmao

1. A background section is more about providing context for the project. What inspired it? What's the purpose? The UX case study is supposed to tell a story, this is essentially setting the scene. 2. Creating a feature for an existing design without data or reasoning - especially this early into the design process - does not help with usability. Don't be afraid haha! UX design is all about critiques. You need to constantly be getting feedback from other designers, stakeholders, and users - and it might make you feel like garbage sometimes. But if it helps improve the experience for the user (or in this case, the case study/portfolio for the designer) isn't it worth it? Obviously don't do anything you don't want to do, I wouldn't ask you to put your portfolio in a public KZbin video, but you could probably ask for feedback from some design communities online :) Thanks for your questions, and for watching the video!
