When I was 6 years old, in 1984, my mother sent us (my older sister, my younger brother and I ) from Afghanistan to Uzbekistan for a better life, as she couldn't feed us in war -thorn Kabul. We were brought up there in orphanage. I had a pleasant childhood in Tashkent, Samarkand and Fergana. I left Uzbekistan in 1991 and haven't been back since. I dream about Uzbekistan quite often because I was there together with my sister (she was killed in Kabul, in 1995) and my younger brother, and I have wonderful memories from this magic land. Uzbekistan has a special place in my heart.

Indeed Uzbekistan is such a stunning and mysterious country that is being discovered for even us-citizens every day and minute. Hospitable people, mysterious history which reminds of detective movies, lol, and breathtaking mountains are the very things that make Uzbekistan 🇺🇿 so special. Here you can find off the beaten track places which enables you to getaway from city life. Being in Uzbekistan is just a chance to live in two lives: 1) Historical one(feeling how your ancestors lived) 2) Modern one (feeling why your ancestors sacrificed their lives in wars) So guys, you are always welcome here 🤗

I am originally from Kazakhstan. I am not offended. Borat is a comedy so take it lightly. It placed Kazakhstan on a map. Before no one in USA knew about this country but now Americans somewhat know.
