Also, differing beauty standards aside, I live among many Koreans, and quite a few of them have a great deal of zygomatic prominence, some out of proportion. So, after having encountered these people, I can understand why some of them go for that cheekbone reduction osteotomy. We westerners prefer a distinct cheekbone, but most of us don’t have it in excess to begin with.

Update! After 1st Scarlet treatment yesterday, the numbing cream really helps. The pain level was 4 out of 10 for me. My areas of concerns were nasolabial folds, under eye hallows and needing skin tightening. Technician said she would do same amount of power on whole face but thanks to Dr Rajani I told her NO! I don’t want to shrink fat from under my eyes. It’s definitely something not all handlers know apparently. Careful out there.

Dr Castor in Tampa, Sharon Giese and a few others do lipo of the jawline and jowl. It is definitely a plus for women in their 30s who are getting a fat pocket, it holds off a face lift for another 10 years. So many facelift doctors do not want to acknowledge that for a lot of people jowls are just fat and not yet a skin issue. The big concern is that some doctors who do the lipo do not stay below the ear and end up wiping out some of the mid-cheek which is not ideal. They claim it is necessary to blend it. Doctors are also doing Facetite now with lipo. The Facetite isn't what is really pleasing the patient, it is the simple lipo they are getting with the treatment.
@rajanimdskincare3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. It is fat. In the right candidate it is great. However, for many loose skin remains. Facetite is great for mild laxity but often removing the skin is important. Great point and thanks for sharing.

@@Angelica-vu3nk I am not a doctor but I don't think so. The Botox targets the nerve muscle while fillers occupies space which may block blood flow. if it does, I think the risk is not that high unlike in fillers there are cases in Korea of blindness due to fillers. The best is to to a doctor who is certified to do it. I have my Botox and HiFu to a good certified doctor while filler I have it done to Thailand's trainer of doctors in dermal fillers. I am happy with the result. I am based in Thailand. Though I can only have the courage for a chin filler because this will not cause blindness due to a different blood supply. Fillers are great. Didn’t last but maybe two months. I don’t know what to do anymore I’m spending so much money and it’s going to waste I do like a bigger look maybe I’m not using the right filler or maybe I’m not using enough filler because I like the look of the lips when it has the swelling . But my injector said it’s never advised to get more than 1ml of filler at a time and I know metabolism may have a lot to do with it but I don’t smoke or even drink alcohol and I drink a ton of water because I’m an esthetician . I have always had a thin body but my face has been my biggest insecurity (wide.. also sligtly long)... It is widest at the bottom part of my face. I used to have chubby cheeks and a recessed chin but got an implant and buccal fat removal. There is loose skin now near the chin, and my facial angles do not look good at all. I think I will do morpheus next and after the 3 treatments, i will get botox in the masseter muscles. Do you think this is a good plan?

Each face is do different. Without seeing the face I d be guessing. Watch my videos this weekend to see the complexity of angles.

I’m 17 had my masseter done with Botox and dysport and it never worked. I think my body is resistant to these toxins. What do I do now? I’m not old so I can’t get pdo thread. What do u think I should do for my wide jaw?

I had the same issue. It means the width in your face is not caused by the masseter. It’s either bone, fat or water retention causing a wide face.

Could you advise why you would prefer ultherapy/hifu over something like endolift (laser)? There a few docs in europe who really like it.
@rajanimdskincare3 жыл бұрын
In general lasers do not lift

I have TMJ and an enlarged masetter and it’s causing me to crack my back teeth. I’m so nervous about Botox because I don’t want to end up w a sagging jawline and other stuff. :(

What causes fat loss from RF? Too high a temperature setting?
@rajanimdskincare4 жыл бұрын
Many want the fat loss. In certain areas these settings are preferable/ double chin and side if mouth. Marionette.

@@rajanimdskincare Is botox pretty safe for masseter slimming? Are there concerns about hitting the facial nerve?

So the threads hurt? I need the v line as I have a large chin plus jowls and marionette lines around my mouth. I’m 61
@lynnoda563 жыл бұрын
I had the barbed threads, and hell yes it hurts...and for weeks/months later sometimes the barb thread will move and you will get a sharp pain. I personally felt that it did not last that long (I had it done in Korea), and not worth the pain/time lasting.

What are your thoughts on supplements for better skin?

Yes. Reducing aging rate. As long as the supplements are studied and safe.

I use sculptra and bellafill but it is a personal choice between a client and provider. Pros and cons.

If you use hyaluronic acid fillers (to sculpt the jaw and the chin ) , which are by nature hydrophilic don’t we risk looking puffier especially after eating something salty or during that time if the month for women? Does restylane lyft not attract much water? Or is radiesse a better option?
@rajanimdskincare4 жыл бұрын
Radiesse has a high g prime and will not attract water. Bellafill will not attract water and is permanent. PlasmaSculpt will not attract water. These cannot be “ dissolved” so must be perfectly placed.

This is the 3rd time I have botox for my bruxism and I don't know why I see that I have puffy jowls, what would be the solution. I'm 40 and almost no wrinkles, nor saggy skin. What do you think of fat pad removal?
