Beautiful explanation on Surpanaka’s visit to Parnashala. Mesmerising upanyasam. Too good. Similarly Sita’s order to Lord Rama to drop the bow and Arrow is a magic explanation. Relates to women empowerment.

In Ramayana upanyasam, we are hearing a a divine story. The words like 'yen aasaikku nee inangavittaal' should not be said. Those words get repeated again and again. This is very indecent.

I have a question. Given Maricha was ready to die either being killed by Ravana or by Rama, preferring that he be killed by the later, he might as well have revealed Ravana's scheme to Rama just before the imminent death. Why didn't he do that instead of crying 'Ha Sita' and 'Ha Lakshmana'? But if he had done so, then there would be no Ramayana, I guess. Also, what we can further understand is that you should always be a righteous person. If you choose the wrong path or wrong company, then your mind will be under the influence of evil thoughts all along as is the case with Maricha. Another reason is that it's after all Lord's plan, so His destiny will always be intertwined with that of His devotees. So, He willed that Maricha once an evil always be so till he died. So, the gist is, always think of Him, never even for a fraction of a second yielding to temptation to do bad deeds. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
