Little-known fact : despite the Purger crystal being, in-universe, a single-use item that is destroyed upon installation, and thus only the Reyvateil in which you installed it being supposed to know how to sing the Hymn, the game actually does _not_ keep track of who you installed the purger with - only of which Reyvateil's route you are on. For my own playthrough, I installed the Purger into Misha, but then went on Aurica's route. Imagine my confusion when I reached the SPU, and I suddenly heard the first notes of the gamelan section.

@@miriripunchie It's definitely not something a lot of people will trigger, because the game prompts you to install the Purger into "the Reyvateil you trust the most". In other words, virtually every player will give the crystal to the same Reyvateil that they choose for the Phase 2 route. In my case, Misha's purger being the first Hymmnos I ever heard, I didn't want to play through the game without experiencing it, and so even though I knew I would go on Aurica's route, I gave the purger to Misha. This is obviously not how you're supposed to play the game, so I understand how they just didn't catch the oversight.

Something similar happened to me, I was playing and wanted to try both routes so I first played the battle with Misha having the Purger and then I loaded to play it with Aurica having the Purger, but from there I continued playing with Aurica with the Purger but I chose to do Misha's route
