Yep, don't plug the animation wire in. That's the one that runs between the 2 taillights.

@@717PROJECT That's why the HR-V Sport is better suited for me, because there will be less things to do. But those lights look great. I just don't know how strict HPD are with aftermarket lighting. Depending on who is doing your yearly safety inspection, here, you may have to have the original lights in for that. Even the clear license plate covers have to be removed. I wonder if the sequential lights you put in earlier are the same size as the ones they have the reflectors for in the new HR-V, because I would consider getting those. But the HR-V has full LED headlights and taillights, as well as two LED lights in the rear hatch area.

A lot of people say that when they first install them. They only do it when you turn the lights on. Try that first. If that doesn't work, check the connection between the 2.

It's really easy. Push down on the silverfish piece of the knob. Will show 2 philips screws. Take them out and it comes right off.

I thought I made another comment previously, but can't find it, all positive about my impressions, except the potential legality in certain states. But if I forget to mention it, you should replace those white zip ties for the trunk wiring with black ones when you can. They've outdated look do much better and match the OEM wiring. Also, thise classic wiring conduits, if you can find them csn also hidden wiring snd protect the wires to some extent. I believe there's an opening the full length of them to access the wiring inside if you need to.
