Thanks for the video! I have a Mavic Air, but I also enjoy flying this size of drones. I still don't see any drone in this category outperforming DJI Tello. I hope we see in the near future a drone like Tello with better camera, microSD recording, more stable connection, at least 1 axis gimbal with good digital image stabilization (at this price will be difficult to have optical stabilization) and all under 100€/$ 😂

The thing is, the Tello isn’t very powerful. Lots of toy level drones that have optical flow have more powerful motors than it and perform better in wind. Although with those ur missing out A LOT of stuff the Tello provides

Finally, there is a drone which I really wanted! I asked you for such a drone when I was a beginner, almost a year ago, but there was none like this one at this price range!!! How good is it! I am very much impressed of V1 Mini Pocket aircraft, and the better thing is that, after a really long time, you reviewed an MJXRC product! The company is really good in making low cost drones for sure. This V1 Mini drone is a very high-tech drone for the price, to be honest! 15 minutes battery life at one battery, which is only of 730 mAh?! Isn't that superb for a very small drone, *with camera* to fly for such a long time at one battery? Three batteries, and ot is gonna fly for 45 minutes straight! Obviously, it is one of the drones to have loads of fun with, * specially indoors* ! Its build quality seems to be amazingly strong for such size and the hand toss feature got me extremely surprised! I cannot believe that how it is capable of doing all this, *including the fun 3D flips* after everything costs only 56 dollars! Its controller is pretty handy and looks good too. The photo and video quality impressed me very much as I expected it to be just some pixels of various colours, but they were clear photos! 50 metres range is more then enough for this drone as most people like me, would like to mostly fly it indoors and for outdoors 'mini' professional drones, Mini 3 Pro is going to be a Wonder! The V1 weighs 73 grams? Only? Oh💀, now the advancement of technology is scaring me that how MJXRC managed to make it so amazing weighing less then 80 grams and being too budget friendly! The fact that with all the propeller guards, its mass increases by a single gram and is 74 grams, is a bit too astonishing for sure... How great is it to see this fantastic drone with so many epic features! And, I just noticed that it costs 89.285× less then the DJI Mavic 3 Cine! Lol

Toss start is really cool! I used to launch my old drones like that but with 1 thumb on the throttle. Altitude hold is a big feature for that price!

On another subject. I appreciate your panic training. I got a used mini se. Just because I wanted it. I also have a mini 2 and a bunch of others. Must be some obsession. Any way. I must have lost transmission. The screen went blank. The notice came up. Lost transmission. My 1st thought. Crud. Then. RTH notice. Whew. Then. It was going to land on my roof then I had to stop it and figure out how to get it oriented and got it landed. Almost had a cow. Another time. Same drone. Wrong RTH setting. Almost went 400feet. Another heart racing moment. But I remember you said. “ don’t do anything “. It will come back to you”. Helped keep me out of panic mode. Lol. Slowly getting better. Need different areas to fly. Lots of restrictions in California. Love all your videos. Thanks.

Best of luck if you have an issue. Banggood does not honor their return policy. They make it very difficult for you to return an item. Had to file a complaint with PayPal to get them to accept a return on a DOA aircraft. Also, China is a mess right now, been waiting for over a month for an inbound shipment as well as an outbound return. Better to buy from someone in your region. If a supplier in my region doesn't have it, I don't need it, is my policy going forward. No more dealing direct with China.

I also have another MJX brushless drone, forget which model cause its in a box with my other crashed drones. From the name alone its a safe bet that theres some quality to it so I trust it

Just a heads up cap, try switching to vr mode on everytime you look at what the drone see's. It actually has a significant changes on the video reception latency from the drone. Downside though, what you will see is only limited to a half of the screen on your phone. Hope you look it up though and if ever this was any good to you, love your vids everytime😊

this looks like the first ever drone i flew, and it had no tech other than a rotten camera (JJRC?). it took a little while to get used to, i dont know if i would consider this as "fun", the only people that can fly it would already have drones ( i think it would amuse me a weekend, once, so kind of landfill) Captain Drone it would be great to have a few videos of your favourite drones (i would like more of the plane drone, the VMO i think )

Yes, watched a few flights earlier this week (many not published). This one guy has received the green light through DJI to publish as if it is a leaked advanced product. This is how DJI controls the message.

Yes, a review will occur probably in JUNE. Unfortunately I, like many, have to buy such drones so I've ordered one. The reviews you have currently seen on the MINI 3 PRO are from people that DJI Sends the Free Drones to and ensures they say only what DJI tells them to say, which is why if you watch two or more reviews, everyone is saying the same thing.

Looks like an Eachine toy knock off. LOL The problem with brushed motors is that they tend to wear our so fast. The bearings tend to go first, then the brushes. This is one of those drones that you cannot expect to fly over 6 months if you like to fly drones a lot. Definitely a good beginner drone!

You are showing your age sir. In the old what you say is correct but this is the year 2022. Go have a look at many of your home appliances and your work tools. Most are BRUSHED motors. You pay a premium for BRUSHLESS motors in tools.

It would work for your purposes but since there is no GPS it is up to you to hold it steady so it does not land on your roof.

@@nandrews10000 This are child proof drones… sounds silly but they are using the simplest of tech. Have you tried/done the following: - power on controller first & drone second - batteries fully charged in drone? - batteries good in controller? - moved left joystick up and down and heard BEEP? - pulled both joysticks inward (down and in). If nothing happens, try down & out. - if nothing happens it means your controller is not bound to your drone. Read instructions on binding (hopefully there are some). - only thing I can think that could have gone wrong is that if you pressed a series of buttons on the controller with it powered on you may have put it in another mode.

Can anyone help me with a user forum on this MJX V1 Mini drone? I bought the drone based on the Captain Drone's review, the drone arrived yesterday but my drone is not functioning properly... After about 10/15 seconds of flight, it looses altitude quickly... I want to know if i can do some other calibration, other than the gyro calibration from the user manual. I'd like to read if other users encountered this problem and if they could fix it. i really like the toss feature on this drone, the 360 flips and even the picture quality (compared to my Eachine e58), so it's too bad it's not working as it should.

Small update on the matter: i haven't found a user forum, so Icouldn't solve the problem... I have instead contacted Banggood and after some to-and-fro they offered to send a new drone to replace the faulty one! Now i just have to be patient, but moral of this story: don't believe everything you read about bad aftersales service from Banggood, my experience is up until now been very good.

Last update: the replacement came in and the drone is working perfectly! Very nice Banggood. Nice little drone, the toss and fly function is very fun. Little light to fly outdoors in any sort of wind, pleased with the video quality for the 40 bucks it costs.

You can fly an under 250 gram drone in Canada with no problems as long as you are responsible and don't annoy anyone.
