Tip, when turning over a rock, pull it towards you exposing the ground under the rock away from you. That way should there be any unwanted reptiles or critters, their way of escape is away from you. In Moab, that may not be a problem, but on trails less traveled, a nice practice. Loved this episode, thanks for sharing.

Chris thank you for taking me along, always enjoyable wherever you venture… The Revel seems to be a fairly capable vehicle, not as much as Orangie, but considering it’s height it does pretty good… Will be nice to have Shannon back for the adventures… Stay safe.

Our family's favorite bee sting remedy is activated charcoal and aloe vera gel. Just mix up a dab that is about the consistency of toothpaste and mound it on the sting. Cover with one of those large bandages that has adhesive on all four sides. Leave it on for a few hours. Relief is almost instant and healing time is reduced by days. Loving this trip. Thanks for sharing. I'll be sure to watch the rest of the trip in September!

Chris, you should totally look at getting a Sven-Saw. I keep one in my trailer. It’s light and takes up almost no space, but is very sturdy and can easily saw through logs 8-10 in diameter with little effort like a nice bow saw. In fact, Sven-Saw should totally send you one for review ;)
@venture4wd Жыл бұрын
Will certainly look into those should I find myself needing to regularly cut through larger branches. For now, the little handsaw works great and was a gift from a dear friend.

I have the same DeWalt saw and it's seen a lot of abuse and just keeps on going. Put a slightly larger Oregon blade and use the FlexVolt batteries. Just goes and goes. Leaks oil like crazy if it's not stored on its side but otherwise a fantastic and portable unit.
@idontknowwhatimdoing0 Жыл бұрын
@@ironscott I place mine on its side when I’m not using it and it doesn’t leak oil.
@ironscott Жыл бұрын
@@idontknowwhatimdoing0 Same here. That’s what I was trying to say. If stored upright it leaks something fierce. Biggest complaint I’ve read about these. Some have fixed with an extra washer on the cap. I saw a video where one guy dismantled the entire thing and siliconed every possible passage. It was a lot of work. DeWalt apparently says you should drain the oil before storing. Lol.
