This is exactly what I was looking for! I want to install it in my RV. I have a 48v battery pack with a 3000w inverter and solar panels. Will this generator automatically start when my batteries state of charge is low? Can I set at which voltage to start the generator? What are the dimensions?

Hello Theodoulos Yes, it does start when your batteries get too low. This can be selected within the app. Dimensions are 42cm length x 34cm depth x 38cm height. If the fuel tank is removed, the height will be 28cm. Visit us at www.dcautogen.com for more info.

Hello Jim, love your enthusiasm! It does have a small footprint Dimensions are 42cm length x 34cm depth x 38cm height. The app comes as standard with all our AutoGen controllers and Generators which is needed for monitoring or manual control and to also alter settings. It works over WiFi so you can monitor from any location in the world. We haven't officially put a price on the V5 but it should range between $1750-$1900 Will be on our site within the next few days as all testing has now been completed. Orders are welcome. Depending on Current output, as the rpm varies. 70-86db. Can get noisy at high rpm as they are an open frame air-cooled engine with a small muffler. This genset has a very small footprint which does affect noise levels.

@@DCAutogen thats pretty good. can this engine sustain running at full load or lets say 90% for hours on end? how does one go about the bigger fuel tank for it and can this work with a victron inverter to be turned on / off?

You can easily install a larger fuel tank and position it slightly higher for gravity flow or we can install a pulse fuel pump. With the pulse pump, tank would be best sitting at the same level as genset. You also have the option for LPG. The V5 AutoGen controller has the option to be turnes on and off from an external trigger(simple dry contact relay from your Victron inverter). That's correct. Max 4kw. 59v upto 70amps is the max output.
