Fantastic video! Though not planning to part with my XC70 soon, I am still torn between a V90CC and V60CC. If we had the V90CC B5 here, that’d be exactly what I’d get.

how do you like these colors silver dawn vs platinum grey in terms of practicality (for instance cleaning), eye catching etc?

@blam07 Well, Silver and light grey cars are good to hide road dirt and such.. Platinum Grey also works in that aspect.. For me in terms of visual appearance I like both these specs.. However if I should order, I would change the Silver Dawn to Denim Blue. For the V90 I could definitely go Platinum Grey, but maybe Denim Blue would win there as well.

@@blam07 I own a V90 in Platinum and love it. The Platinum is definitely more practical than black, but still very dark. My previous S90 in silver looked good for longer after cleaning. But silver misses the warm glow. Platinum right after cleaning is beautiful in sunlight. I love the look with black window trims. But it lacks some contrast. Last week I saw an XC60 in Bright Dusk. That would probably be my choice if I bought today. A much lighter color that is both practical and still warm and that contrasts beautifully with black trim.

@@mhsmit It is a tough choice - for me the best color would be darker silver (more like metal? volvo once had something similar). I agree that lighter colors better emphasize nice volvo body, so I choose silver dawn with dark theme, but darker lacquers seems more elegant. Platinum grey was too brown for me and bright dusk is very unique but a bit more on feminine side. And that fusion red is too much orange. Of course this is all subjective. Though Volvo could have bigger palette..

For us having quite big dogs and wanting to transfer them safely in a cage the V90 is obvilious choice. I have almost fully equipped one and I also like that it is more silent and relaxed on the roads. The V60 is bit rawer and sportier.

I’m the lucky and super-happy two-year owner of the V90 T8 in this exact color with B&W sound system and it is indeed amazing. The interior is super quiet and the audio is fantastic (only the XC 90 beating it). For best sound, leave off the luggage area cover.

This is really sad... Wagons are way more versatile and comfortable to drive than SUVs. This green madness about taxing high the hybrid is ridiculous. I hope they won't stop selling them in Sweden.
