Great content as always. Saturday mornings I live vicariously through your videos. Seeing you slosh through the mud it dawned on me all the extra effort you put forth on getting great shots. It would have been easier to just stay in the warm/dry Jeep and film from the inside. As a Jeep owner it’s always great to see these Jeeps doing what they were made to do. Safe travels Chris, til next week.

This was a cool ep. I'm catching up on your older eps and working forward. I liked the first look out better but it's all lovely. Wow so much yellow. I'm from FL so I don't see leaves like that. It's different up there for sure. I LOVED the pumpkins the city tucks into little corners. I had fun picking them out and also seeing that big pile you walked past. I would have been uneasy about some else driving my jeep too. I understand.

The Reconyx brand are the only ones that don’t make an audible on camera power up sound, which is the reason most animals end up looking at the cameras in most pics. They are pricey! I agree that it would be interesting to see how the animals respond to your presence, but careful what you wish for. Don’t trust the woods, ever!!

There were some great shots in this episode Chris. The overlook of the valley, the historic district with the skyscrapers in the background and that giant clown head balloon(?) squeezed between the buildings were just a few. Also, don’t listen to the complaints about the grilled cheese sandwich. That’s on brand for you. 😀

One of my favorite things to do when road tripping and travelling is to hit up thrift stores salvation stores etc.. books on cd and new music as well as other randoms. I am sure you can find a Coleman stove for a replacement knob. There is always a few at the local place. Our other favorite is library's. If they have a friend's of the library sale table it keeps us in new books and we donate at the next library.
@alexanderweaver91825 жыл бұрын
It's absolutely amazing what you can find at Goodwill, Salvation Army and other thrift shops. I recently picked up a beautiful Patagonia outer shell, an Eddie Bauer rain jacket with hood and a pair of 5.11 pants (with the price tag still attached $74) all for under 20 bucks. Cast iron 10 inch skillet for $4. A wool blanket, Italian army officer, for $6. Apparently a lot of wealthy people live near this Goodwill store.

Great video again, amazing scenery. Fall is a great time of year. Chris, as much as you eat grilled cheese, why would you ever get that at a nice restaurant, by nice I mean more expensive than average. :) Hopefully better food than average too. I do expect you'll be coming through the Upper Penninsula of Michigan on your way back south. I know you would never go through Port Huron or dare I say it, Detroit. Much exploring and plenty of seasonal roads through U.P. took one in the Jeep a few years back from the west into Tahquamenon Falls. It made me think of it more as a snowmobile trail. Many water falls up there, Au Train was a standout for me.
