By far, venture4wd is the best overlanding/exploring channel on YT! What an amazing year you have had Chris! Thank you for sharing your adventures, they are definitely inspiring, and motivating. I'll have to re-watch all of 2019 again. Have a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2020. Looking forward to see where your travels take you in the coming year.

I agree with pretty much everything below. Don't know if it bothered anybody else, but the 1 second cuts gave my eyes quite a workout. I actually had to step away after a few minutes. Adventure Overload! Keep it up, and let me echo-- one of the best youtube channels out there!

Chris, words cannot express my gratitude and what your adventures have meant to me this year. I'm just now getting back on my feet after a leg injury and two operations that have sidelined me for the last eight months. You have kept me entertained the whole time. Looking forward to your continuing travels. THANKS!

Well, 2019 has been quite a ride and I am thankful you allowed me along. The scenery, exposure to different places that are not on the beaten path, and the manner in which they are all humbly presented cannot be matched. Every Saturday morning finds me with coffee in hand, anxiously awaiting the laptop to boot up so I can enjoy your weekly episode. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Enjoy time with your family, some well-deserved R&R, and I cannot wait to see the upgrades on the Rubicon. I, as I hope you are, am looking forward to 2020 being as wondrous and pleasantly eventful as 2019. The only thing I ask of you is to continue bringing us the world as you see it and travel through it for as long as you are called to do so. Merry Christmas, sir, and may God bless you.

How blessed you are to be able to look back on such a tremendous year! So many awesome experiences. We got adventure envy real bad as we watched this tonight as a family. You truly DO inspire us to go out and explore more! It’s your cinematography, the sound of woods and waves, waterfalls and wildlife. Thank you so much for living these adventures and taking so much time to record them so we can enjoy them too!

Chris, I watch most of the overlanding channels and your videos are by far the most authentic, unsupported and relatable. I feel you’d be doing this with or without the followers and subscribers. Your kit is simple and achievable. I am glad you are adding heating though as warmth is not a luxury for long term living. Massive thanks for taking us along for the ride. BTW I totally agree with you on the vehicle being one single space. A double cab pickup with a demountable makes the most sense for me here in the UK but unless I can find a way to make a walkthrough I just can’t do it.

We found your videos just after you were in Nova Scotia (where we live). You've become a Saturday tradition in our home! Sandwiches and "jeepman". Our 3 year old loves the puddles, rivers, and crashes through the ice, and we adults like watching the journey, the scenery, and checking out the gear and mods. Watching your videos is such a relaxing way to spend our weekend lunchtime!

Chris- A wannabe adventurer here also from SE PA (Bucks County). I happened upon your vids a few months ago and had to go back to the beginning to chronicle all the cheezits, grilled cheese, burgers and of course, the pizza. I am convinced our mothers each shopped with the same grocery list of staples. Although I always enjoy your candid and entertaining commentary, I appreciate the visuals of this episode - no words required - simply spectacular. Thanks for letting me come along for the adventure.

Thanks Chris, that was an awesome recap. You remind me of something an adventurous friend of mine recently said to me and that I took to heart: "Yeah, that trip I just took vs working as I do now, I'm not so sure I'm living my life like I should be." And thanks so much for sharing in general and reminding me to stop getting old and to get back out there. For what it's worth, you've visited some of my old haunts and it's a trip to say to myself while watching "YEAH! That place, man! I love that place!" That said, I've been wrenching on a new travel rig thanks in part to your inspiration. It's not my first and I don't intend it to be my last one either. Thanks for reminding me that one needs to just go outside and play.

Excellent montage. Knowing just how much footage I come home with, on my little trips each season change here in New England, it’s a lot of work to review and narrow down these tidbits. My hats of to you. My body is wrecked after sleeping in my Silverado’s truck bed with a high camper shell after just a week! Can’t imagine a year on the road. But I’m looking into a used Jeep now and the JL pop top...mainly so I don’t have wiz on my old knees in the middle of the night😆 and I like your thought that you don’t have to get out of the vehicle to get to things in the back. I’m going through your vids to see what model Jeep and accessories you find are good for backroads...Maine and Vermont mainly. Safe travels.
