There is a tapered needle that seats in a fuel orifice that's in the path of the intake. The fast moving air creates a vacuum in the space in the bell above the round slide, sucking it up away from the fuel orifice. A 2JZ in a heavy Rolls is gonna suck. To make bottom end torque you need to use a smaller turbo, which is a must for a heavy car. But you need a big turbo for big power, which will have lag. So unless you’re building sequential, it’s not going to be happy. An LS or Hemi swap would be a better idea.
@LewisFausettManagement4 жыл бұрын
It's actually a lighter car than a lot of people think. Especially because ~1,000 pounds of the weight comes off when you swap the engine. The biggest concern is Torque which we were thinking about switching the Supra transmission to fix, but in our research we found we should be fine. We're thinking sequential turbos. But again we actually aren't trying to build the fastest car on the block. We're just trying to make it a little more modern performance wise while maintaining a cool classic car.
