Authentic Kerala Dishes with my personal Touch 😍
Ingredients
Fish-1/2kg
Coconut-3/4cup
Coriander Powder-2tsp
Chilli Powder-2tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4tsp
Fenugreek Powder-less than 1/4tsp
Green chilli-3
Garlic -3 cloves
Ginger -med
Small Onion-13
Tomato-1/2
Water-11/2cup
Salt-
Tamarind -lemon sized
Curryleaves
Coconut Oil -3tbsp
Method
Roast coconut along with 2 small onions and curry leaves .
When golden add all powders and roast ..Allow to cool and grind to a fine paste.
Heat oil and saute onion, ginger, garlic and green chilli, when golden add tamarind water and ground paste along with water and salt ..boil well ..
Then add fish, close and cook.
After 15 minutes open and add tomato and cook for few more minutes until the gravy thicken..
Finally, season with small onion.. Close for few minutes and serve ..
Its best to serve the next day ..
