7:06 Since I haven’t seen anyone mention it yet, this is called skin-to-skin contact (sometimes called kangaroo care if you’re dealing with premies or low weight infants) and, from what I understand, is a crucial part of the newborn parenting process. Not only is it soothing for the baby, but it helps the baby start building a bond with the holder. While, yes, we often associate that with the mother/parent who gave birth to the child (especially since skin-to-skin contact can help stimulate milk), it’s certainly not exclusive to them. So yeah, not only did this person not do their research, but this person also apparently wants this guy in the image (who I presume is the dad) to not be able to build a close bond with their kid. Because god forbid that a man wants to bond with their newborn child, especially after waiting ~9 months to meet them and (hopefully) supporting their partner/surrogate through the trials of pregnancy. Obviously, wanting to be a good dad is illegal! Seriously, the misandry here is real.

4:15 Welp, looks like it’s time to explain exactly what is wrong with the character of Rey Palpatine 🤷🏻♀️ 1. She is a blatant rip-off of Luke Skywalker but according to Disney it’s totally different because she’s a woman. 2. She is a total Mary-Sue who literally does not make a single mistake despite having minimal training. 3. Her identity being revealed felt like a weird plot twist, almost like Disney were making things up as they were going along, with no foreshadowing or hints like the earlier films liked to do. 4. She’s just a badly written character. Deal with it.

You forgot about her spontaneously breaking canon laws of how the force is used by inventing that healing technique, when previous rules mentioned that most dark side techniques alter flesh in a mockery of healing, basically meaning that if we go by the ESTABLISHED CANON RULES up to and including the Return of the Jedi, then technically Rey is a Sith... Then again considering I heard the movie was being produced after buying up Lucas Films, and I don't know if George Lucas even left a manual for any extra works... I automatically expected it to be shit and 'canon by ownership' or some fucked up idealogy to make a badly written fanfiction with godzilla's size levels of inconsistency the moment I saw what seemed like a lady carved from stone going about like it was a walk in the park... Disney used to be decent enough to overlook some of the sillier or odd details, now I see disney and expect garbage with a side of 'how the fuck does that work' styled narcissism...
@SuperiorPosterior13 күн бұрын
@@jakeforgey5378 You need to reacquaint yourself with the Lore. Force Healing has been a canon Jedi power for decades! Barriss Offee, a Padawan, is credited as healing most if not all of the Jedi wounded during the First Battle of Geonosis, among a dozen other examples. The healing isn't the problem, it's the fact she just acquired the ability without training or effort that is a problem.

I was able to get out of it recently and I feel a lot better. What I've learned about the platform is that it's a place to be confidently wrong about a topic (or just making it up entirely), take a perfectly innocent picture or person and somehow twist it to make it sound horrible, and be incredibly hateful. It's just a miserable place and it's honestly so much nicer not knowing what's happening on that platform. Same for the news, omitting it from my life made my life a lot more peaceful.

7:38 tl;dr there's a logical reason to not eat people as well as a moral one. It's not actually that long of a paragraph but I'm terrified you'll all only get one sentence in and then crucify me without reading my conclusion. fun fact, some cultures view cannibalism as a way to ensure the spirits of the dead stay with them, and it's their preferred funeral custom to eat their loved ones. The reason I mention this is it gives us a reason other than ethics to say cannibalism is bad; there's certain prions that are passed on when humans eat human brain tissue, and they are fatal and will make your life suck the whole time you're dying. We know this because anthropologists and biologists have observed this happening in cultures where this funeral cannibalism is practiced. Eating your loved ones after they pass doesn't give you their strength, but it might give you a degenerative brain disease.

I'm not sure if i can tell 30 fps and 60 fps apart, sometimes a game looks choppy and i mess with the settings to try to fix it, but i am not sure it is an FPS thing, because i always have an fps tracker at the corner of my screen so i know those games were running above 30 fps and many others that were running at or below 30 did not look choppy. I think there are probably other more important things that go into a game looking smooth, just how i believe good Anti aliasing does much more to a game looking sharp than just resolution numbers

2:05 Actually me wearing glasses has nothing to do with being bullied, I spent too much time in front of PC even before I fell into the depths of depression. Not TOO long before that happened, but still, me feeling bullied is unrelated to me wearing glasses. I know this tweet is stupid, but everyone has an urge to correct clearly-stupid things sometimes, right?

I grew up in the 90s and never got bullied for wearing glasses, I feel left out

@@SegmentedOdin I don't think people really bully for wearing glasses... though it might just be me.
