KZbin suggested one of your videos today and I've now watched a few. Love your style and the way you present things. So much is how I feel; so it resonates with me. There was a period of my life where I made all my clothes. It was great fun. Having things nobody else had was so refreshing. Life got a bit in the way...Now I'm making clothes for my grandchildren 😊 I went to Spain some years ago and was surprised how much I loved it. Maybe I shouldn't have been surprised. Isn't Granada and the Alhambra amazing?

Also Sarah, l was amazed to hear you made your stylish dresses! No one would ever guess. They are so figure flattering and give you miles long legs. All are lovely but my fave is the two piece as its print and fit are just so pretty. Would love to know the pattern for that one? I have just bought a Pfaff 160s sewing machine in the hopes this will be the answer to my difficulties as a petite who needs certain brighter winter colours. Items for me rarely exist in the shops. I am hoping to use my sewing machine to create items that mimic the hourglass proportions I lack and to give me the illusion of longer legs. All using my winter colours. You are inspiring as always; please show us future pieces you create 😍

Had my colours done via HoC last week and I'm a summer! Wow colours down the deeper darker end... looking for a week's capsule wardrobe for south of France next month and I'm so lucky with what's in the shops at the moment. Sarah, I think your wardrobe was fab and will say more on that in another comment. I’m really interested to hear that in Spain colour is embraced more. Perhaps I need to emigrate 😆?! In the U.K.and I believe most other places, neutrals and muted colours dominate. As a Cool Winter, I find it a little uncomfortable wearing too much of my gorgeous, but fairly bright, palette at one time. Whenever I wear my cropped fuchsia Boden jacket, even if all else is neutral, it is always noticed and remarked on. As a shy-ish person, I feel a bit conspicuous. I guess what I’m saying is it would be nice to have the confidence to wear my colours head to toe as in a co-ord and not mind the looks or remarks that might bring. In general, I think you need to be comfortable with having attention on you when you wear bright colours in this neutral world. A video topic perhaps? x
