The smell of these Febreze bags acutally takes me down trip to memory lane when my mom used to buy used bagged Dirt Devils from thrift stores and bought these with it seperately from Walmart.

Got new carpet and need a new vaccum. In school so don't have a huge budget, this makes me feel a lot better about ordering the bissel cleanview bagged that runs these. I'm in Canada and it was around 150.

Febreeze makes really good products. It's strange because the way they market them, you think it's going to be all hype, but the products do well.

Yet another expectation re this Bissell that proves false (and I mean my expectations). I really like the bagged Bissell a lot more than I thought I would and the bags are a surprise as well. Too bad the loose color spews dust and ruins the potential excellent performance. I'm considering finding a sleeve to put over the nozzle to make the bag a tighter fit and maybe get these bags to seal better. For those who think this vacuum is cheap and a joke, I'd say you should definitely give one an honest try first.

I just wrap some masking tape around the outside of the bag mounting port and viola', tight collar fit.

I'm surprised and sort of embarrassed that I had confabulated a conclusion that these bags would be terrible before I watched your video. I'm impressed. I am about as particular as a person can be about high filtration, which is the reason my Kirby Tradition, one of my all-time favorite vacuums, never sees use - I know its bag doesn't filter well. I really wish I could get a HEPA bag in the Tradition's Style 1, but I doubt Kirby ever will make that. Meanwhile, your test in this video reminded me to actually investigate before concluding. Thanks for a other great vid!

Now I'm wondering how the arm and hammer allergen bags work on a Kirby. My mother used to use those bags since they where cheap and also at Walmart.

How cheap did she get them for? I get a 6 pack of Kirby HEPA bags on sale delivered for a little over $12. So about $2 a bag. Right now, the best I can do is about $2.50 a bag.

@@VacLab Well, we haven't used those bags since like 2013, but I remember them being like $7 or $8 at Walmart for a 3 pack. We have since moved to using the black hepa bags.

I’ve read that the micron magic paper bags were designed for trapping bacteria and not as much dust.

Bacteria is smaller than dust, therefore if a bag traps bacteria, it would trap fine dust.

Hi Bill! Awesome video as usual :) i’m wondering if the older paper kirby micron magic bags will do better when placed and zipped inside the cloth outer bag on a g4,5,6 than if they are just out in the open. I remember reading that kirby micron magic filtration also had to do with the outer bag being different material than the G3’s outer bag. I’d love to know if that’s true if you’ve ever tested it!

Now I find that hard to believe even though it proves it to do a good job. I have the exact same bags when I had this machine and just vacuuming my house just once. I could see dirt on the outer bag cover the was able to get past the bag and onto the plastic. Hmm I wonder...

You should know that I performed this test twice (and got the same results). So that's actually 8 sets of averaged data. Blew me away as well. 😎

@Thomas Rectenwald it's not too bad at all...but remember, the best HEPA bags generate far less than 100 particles, so the paper bag is at least 10 times worse. The black Kirby bags that have full HEPA specs printed on them, scored sound a 50, which is 22 times better than this Febreze bag.

Those febreeze bags are absolutely crapI have the same vacuum and it's sealed and I know it's sealed everything is sealed properly and the bag is just letting us go turn motor that's why I never run those in machine
