Lately it’s been impossible to play at all, there are so many cheaters that I even meet them in casual :(

So many closet cheaters too, played a game last night against a guy who i suspected after like the 3rd round, i checked his faceit profile and he was lvl 5, i checked his stats on CSSTATS and he didn't have a crazy rating, just a 1.24KD which isn't suspicious so i thought "oh well maybe hes just getting lucky", a few more rounds pass and he always seems to know exactly what position im in, doesn't prefire any other position except the one im playing in. I decided to download the demo and watch it and yep, 100% wall hacking, he was trying to hide it but too many times he would look at me through walls by accident or prefire an angle that he thought i was about to peek but i had stopped before peeking. I played at 22k premier and every game was at least 5 cheaters, 1 or 2 blatant cheaters and 2-5 wall hackers. It's unplayable.

When people get my issues they start bitching, this is what I have to deal with. Crosshair on the guy? Doesn't matter. You get punished with good aim and good anti-strafes. And you get punished by the guy run and gunning looking at your feet which obviously means a head shot on you, they then say "skill diff" after everything.

you will not get banned if you alt+tab, the guy in the video was using some sort of cheat that's why he got banned but if you still get banned you can just email valve about the false-ban

For some reason I haven’t seen at least one cheater banned that I played against. It feels like VAC isn't working at all

Because VAC likes to honey pot ban (gathering information on why cheaters aren’t getting flagged then banning them all at once) really obv detected cheats get banned instantly so you don’t even see them, the high end cheats are hard to detect.

it seems that they are finally doing something against aim inconsistencies like inaccuracy while jumping and running or better said, things that cheaters abuse to be more accurate while midair and stuff, I was already wondering how that's even a possiblity, in CSGO it wasn't detected, but it was server sided so cheaters couldn't really abuse it, wondered why they didn't do it in cs2 too (besides it's destroying basically the whole game for everyone just to make cheaters less obvious) good thing they combat it like this

0:09 It seems to me that after the update most of the weapons stopped hitting normally. I started to notice this while playing with awp, and after playing with the ak-47 I was completely blown away, the bullets seemed to disappear, is that the case for everyone? Maybe, subtick - worst idea?

It's not subtick that's causing a massive desync in the server, I'm pretty sure it's just that the server cannot keep up. Subtick takes very, very little, the animations take a lot. If your ping is even close to 100, some desync(which results in either massive delays or even rollback/rubberbanding) will happen. That also causes something like HS but no kill on the AK or something. Or bullets go through the opponent. This happened on CS:GO if you had really bad internet. In CS2, it happens if you don't have stellar connection. Until it's fixed, don't use Wi-Fi, and have a STABLE connection, speed doesn't matter much, but stability does.

@@Balance127 Yeah, it IS worse, that was my point. What I'm also trying to tell you is that 900 down 90 up won't matter if it's more like 850-950 down 70-110 up, and it fluctuates a lot. Any destability really fucks over CS2 servers right now. In my case, a very, very consistent 10 down 10 up had almost no packet loss and the game felt just fine, but if the speed improved to like 15 down 10 up, then the game started to lag. A Valve dev on Reddit said they know what's causing this, and the fix was on the way since forever, but it's taking a long time even for them(saying that it's a large project) When it's fixed, I think it'll feel just like CS:GO.

The shots not connecting is very real. My BF zeused a guy on Nuke the other day and he SURVIVED. Body visibly had electricity all over it and the mf lived to zeus him back. We determined it was some kind of latency and hitbox delay of some sort.

Remember, boys, don't use Wi-Fi, and get your internet connection to be as stable as possible, even if it isn't fast. If your internet speed fluctuates a lot, in CS2, you will experience some rubberbanding. Until it's all fixed, that is. Just wait, it'll be just as good as CS:GO eventually.
