Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for. That last hose that goes into the back of the throttle body gets weak and sucks in on itself. It might be causing it to misfire and low fuel rail pressure. It needs to be replaced anyways.

Will a problem with that one vacuum box under the passenger wheel well cause problems with fuel pressure delivery? I ask because my '99 - 4.6 at times does not want to start. And when it does start, the fuel rail has very little gasoline pressure. I have gone as far as to gutted the valve stem and and no fuel sprays out. However, if I insert a thin wire into the valve stem entrance the wire will show soaking for gasoline with the heavy odor of gasoline. At this juncture, Friday, May 17th, 2024, I am going to remove the passenger side wheel well and inspect all the gasoline lines. I have never done this. Wish me luck. Thank you for the video

Yea Justin those vacuum lines can be a pain to figure out at least you have other cars to look at for reference

Wait everything ive see online said the small line going into the firewall was the line that controls if the air blows from the vent or the defrost... It's the line that goes into the canister in the pass fender that controls that part??

When the larger one collapses it causes the issue. The tiny one going to the firewall might control it all

@@justin.c_svt Ok, I figured it out... The small line going into the firewall near the ac lines was gone I replaced that line. I am unsure where to tie in so it gets vacuum there is no tee. Can I just tap into the vacuum line that comes off the upper intake?? If yes should I tap in past the valve that is on that line??

@@justin.c_svt Mine is a 97 so the vac lines are different. Your vid help me more than the others I watched. I did test the new line and the air blows through the vents!! But I am still clueless as to where this line gets its vacuum from. Trying to fix sloppy repairs and make things work as they should.

I don’t. My friend went to a parts store and bought vacuum hardline and reused the stock fitting plugs and remade them.

I love the content you and your brother put out on terminator cobras. But I just can’t get into 2v mod mustangs. At the end of the day, thats a $6k car at best. An LS swap would make far more dollars and sense

It’s not always about the power. I love the 94-04 mustangs for what they are. I don’t need 600hp to go to work and back everyday. The GT’s have been great for that and just cruising around.

I imagine that Justin loves newedge mustangs in particular and that includes the 2V. Nothing is more lame than dropping a Chevy motor in a Ford Mustang. There's something special about these cars just the way they are. Some people will never understand that, it is what it is.

How would you find a vacuum leak on a new edge

You can try carefully spraying brake cleaner on vacuum lines and if the idle jumps the leak is somewhere there. It will suck in the fumes and the idle will jump from it
