Hi Ry great work , can't wait to see the finished car , here in Wales painter Steve would be known as Steve the paint or simply Steve Paint ! I don't know why I felt like sharing this little cultural difference I just heard you calling him painter Steve and couldn't resist 😉

I'm totally involved in this whole process, and I can only hope you follow it up with another equally rusty classic

I'll bet that is starting to gain weight, lots of thin and perforated steel has been replaced with new solid metal. Good to see it moving along

It's starting to look like the finished product! Can't wait for the following episodes to see this totally come together. Is running gear being restored at your shop or is that contracted out? Would love to see one or more episodes on that part of the restoration.

When will the next 914 video be coming?
@charleschrist23133 сағат бұрын
I truly enjoy and appreciate watching someone else doing what i do from time yo time in my shop. Working on cars that have no factory or aftermarket panels is a challenge. I am enciuraged to see this car completed in paint and rolling on its own 4 wheels!

16:30 Who but our Ryan would wear a welding mask to use a felt pen and just do a safety squint when actually welding? 😂

Is there a reason why one chassis rail is longer thanthe other? I'm intrigued. Great video and edit as always.👍

This is almost like the Ship of Theseus. If you replace every bit of metal. Is it still the same Mazda cosmo or a brand new car?

Hi guys, great job here, but what happened with Smee's Porche?

Love the Music, blown away by how well you make your Panels and make it look so easy but was wondering why you don't TIG your 'A' Surface panels and then Plenish the Welds to get rid of Warping?
@bz8492 сағат бұрын
Ryan the way you look at an empty space and say hmmm that’s meant to be a panel this shape that shape a flange here and a Flange there a Bend here and fold there then it’s a fully handmade panel just like the original just absolutely blows my mind everytime I watch your videos theee isn’t another man on KZbin could do what you do

As always, great to watch. What is the thickness of the sheet material you are using? I think I am using too thin a material for my project.
@yorkshirecarrestorationСағат бұрын
We use mainly 1.2 mm as it adds strength.
