Vaer S5 Field Watch Review | The Best Field Watch Under $200

The black silicon strap is the same one that I've purchased on Amazon under the Barton brand. I like the strap and I'm glad that they're including it with the watch. I'm expecting my Vaer S5 to be delivered today. I love the styling of this watch and I look forward to getting it on my wrist.

Right!! I gotta say for a couple of years now I’ve known about Vaer but never had one and finally said let me take a look at this company and I must say I’m pleasantly surprised.

Well my C5 Vaer watch stopped working less than 5 months ago, just before a lengthy trip out of the US. It had been irregularly stopping fore then. Now Vaer says I need to ship it to Los Angeles and wait 3-4 weeks to get a verdict. I need a reliable simple watch that worked like my prior Citizens.

Great video man. Why doesn't it include the military time on the dial? The ones on Vaer's website do, but I've watched several reviews and none have the military time.

Thanks for the review. Do you really think a box dome crystal would be a value add for a field watch? For my money, a crystal flush with the case seems less likely to be damaged…
