Militado ML05 Review: Hamilton Killer?

This brand is killing it in the field/military watch category! While I love the VH31, I'd like to see them break out with some other movement choices, too. And, speaking on behalf of larger wrist enthusiasts, some 40mm+ sizes would be awesome too. Great video...thanks for sharing!

Tandorio field watch is also a sharp little mechanical banger with great spec with seiko vh35. I have both watches. The Tandorio is a little larger at 39mm both are super value 🍻 cheers

I agree Militado is killing it. I really like what they are doing for field watches. However, until they offer a 39.5+ they will not enter my collection. I wouldnt mind triple the price with a Miyota movement. 😂

Why not bigger battery in quartz movement?

@@marduj2768 yeah I know what you mean. Bulova’s Precisionist quartz movements have those really big batteries in them, which seems smart. Those are relatively expensive though, I’m guessing in this case it’s a matter of saving money. If it hits the 2 year mark as advertised, that’s not too bad, though. Thanks for the question!

What colours do they come in, and how does that compare to Hamilton? Do you think the strap the Militado comes with would be too long (opposite problem as you!) I have a 6-inch flat wrist. Would Nato strap also be better for me?

@@gengen811 there are a number of striped natos. The dials are all black. I genuinely think you’ll be fine with the nato on a 6” wrist.

Honestly I like the black face better than charcoal of Hamilton. I like a crisp watch face, but even though money for value is better with Militado, I would also keep Hamilton if I only had one. Good news is, if you get this one it can tide you over until you can get the hamilton. Like a watch while you wait 😂. It will keep your wrist warm!
