I don't suffer from neuropathy after countless nights of terrible pain. Doctors were clueless as to what they should do. I had to take my own life into my own hands. I did some research and got rid of my depression first. Then, of course, I moved away from the environment that put me in depression in the first place, my workplace. I took supplements and changed my diet (I used to consume A LOT OF carbs, now I only rarely eat dark chocolate as my biggest carb source) and lifestyle. I've been a type 1 diabetic for 28 years and I was able to ERADICATE neuropathy. The only thing that remains is a little limping on the left foot/leg that only happens when I get into a walking stance from sitting. I think I haven't activated my vagus nerve properly (even though my research kept bringing me back to it and I did do some work on it). I will apply the techniques in this video. Thank you, doctors!

Don't know if this will help anyone, but my dentist gave me a blotched root canal and damaged the nerve. After months of seeing doctors and antibiotics which reduce inflammation but did not heal the nerve, I've started taking oral over the counter vitamins based off of myers IV cocktail and it's been 2 days and they seem to be helping. The Myers' formula consists of high doses of B vitamins, vitamin C, and minerals (magnesium and calcium). There are other variations. You can look it up. Blessings 🙏

This diagnosis means that there is 'NO' Known cause for your PN, when in actuality there are over hundreds of different cases. The problem is your doctor has not spent adequate time with you reviewing your complete medical history to figure out the cause. I did a video that will help answer some of your questions. Does this promote healing? Or just for pain control?
@ChrisLongDCBS5 ай бұрын
If you’re modulating pain without using a drug, and doing it with the help of promoting vagal tone, then it promotes healing. Getting plenty of sleep promotes healing mainly because your vagus system is highly active when sleeping and resting.

what about patients with over active/ sensetive vagus nerve , the ones who faints in the tilt table test like me should i do the opposite of the steps you mentioned in your videos to stimulate the vagus nerve or what?
@NerveDoctors13 күн бұрын
The approach differs due to the sensitivity but there are underlying similarities. Natural Methods to Help decrease a Hyper-Sensitive Vagus Nerve should be introduced very gradually to help with vagus nerve regulation. For instance you can start with the following: 1) Diaphragmatic breathing Start with diaphragmatic breathing in a reclining or semi-reclined position to avoid triggering fainting. Gradually progress to seated or standing positions as tolerance improves. 2) Counterpressure Maneuvers to counteract the drop in blood pressure during vagal episodes Leg Crossing: Cross your legs and squeeze them together tightly when feeling faint. Handgrip Exercise: Clench your fists firmly for 10-15 seconds to increase blood pressure. 3) Cold Exposure Splash cold water on your face and acclimate your body to cold water plunges These are a few things you can start with.

Even though it's not considered peripheral, would this theoretically help trigeminal neuralgia?
@NerveDoctors2 ай бұрын
Hi their. Trigeminal neuralgia is still a form of peripheral neuropathy. All cranial nerves are part of the peripheral nervous system. Now having said that, utilizing just a nerve support formula won't do the trick. Yes you do need a good quality nerve support formula, but you will also need to utilize photobiomodulation along with following an anti-inflammatory diet.

@NerveDoctors4 ай бұрын
Hi there. The demonstration is correct. You rub the front side of the neck and yes, you will end up rubbing part of your throat but the majority of the pressure is placed on the front side of the neck. Remember your neck has a front and back side to it. I know when we use the term neck, we typically think of the back of our body. Hope this clarifies.

@NerveDoctors5 ай бұрын
Hi Sharon. I'm sure this comment is out of context making it difficult for me to decipher. So, let me shed some light. It's not that nerves don't like cold or heat for that matter. If the sensory nerves have been damaged they can be hypersensitive to cold or heat or any other sensory stimuli for that matter. The cold therapy elicits a strong physiological response of the nervous system which facilitates many healing pathways.

Can depression affect the vagus nerve? I had hypo gut motility (gassy,bloated,slow digestion) when I was depressed several years ago. The depression have been gone but the gut not fully recovered. Any tips to overcome this? Thanks
@NerveDoctors13 күн бұрын
Hi Kelvin. Yes, depression can affect the vagus nerve function by causing a low vagal tone. This can most certainly impair the Gut-Brain Axis. The Vagus nerve is a critical part of the autonomic nervous system. So, definitely begin by doing the Vagus nerve activation exercises but in addition to repair potentially damaged nerves in your autonomic nervous system, you may need to add in critical ingredients for peripheral nerve repair. (The autonomic nervous system is part of the peripheral nervous system). Here are links to 2 videos we've done on the critical nutrients and the appropriate doses: Vital nutrients for nerve repair: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rYHVpqRqbpKeqbc The Right Dose: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mnywgYCGf7JngLs For autonomic nerve repair we also use our 2 formulas: Nuphoria cm Gold & Nerve Defense: bit.ly/3T4XmrE Also, make sure you're eliminating all processed foods, gluten, corn, soy and dairy (cow's milk) from your diet while you're healing. Basically follow an anti-inflammatory diet.

That's not surprising in the least. Dr C & I have worked with just about 20,000 cases of peripheral neuropathy sufferers globally, but let's just focus on the U.S. for a minute. I can't tell you how many of our patients went back to their PCP's, Cardiologists and Neurologists to tell them about their recovery and show them how well they were walking. They would bring our business cards to their doctors, so they could contact us. Guess how many phone calls we received from any of these doctors. ZERO! Not one single phone call, which still astounds us to this day. The most comical story that Dr C has is when a patient came in to seek peripheral neuropathy treatment from him, and this patient asked Dr C not to tell his wife, who was a primary care physician and did not believe nerves could be healed. So, he was seeing Dr C for treatment without his wife's knowledge. Well , this gentleman made a full recovery and guess what? No phone call from his wife, the PCP. As doctors, we are supposed to be men and women of science. The premise of science and research is rooted in inquiry, skepticism, and the pursuit of knowledge. However, being open-minded is a crucial aspect of this process. It's how new discoveries are made. As doctors, it's imperative to have an open mind which allows us to adapt our old ways of thinking to embrace new theories and challenge existing theories. If, as doctors, we cease to be receptive to new research or we refuse to take the time to even look at the research, then how can we truly serve and help our patients' best interest?.
@NerveDoctors5 ай бұрын
B6 is a critical nutrient but it's imperative to take the correct form. You should not take Pyridoxine HCL as this can lead to more nerve damage, when taken in high doses or for prolonged periods of time. YOu should take Pyridoxal 5 Phosphate (P5P). Research has shown that this can be taken in extremely high doses without any nerve damage. Here's a link to a video we did on this topic: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXqwkH1vaN6WrKM

The first thing I would recommend is photobiomodulation. There's been so much research by esteemed doctors and medical researchers on this therapy for the treatment of traumatic brain injury. If you don't know how to get started, I would recommend setting up a consult with us. We'll review your medical records and do a deep medical history on you to put you on the right path. Here's how you can contact us if you'd like: Link: nuphoria.com/collections/our-products/products/consult-with-neuropathy-specialist Tel: 844-400-0101

Exhale out with mouth closed? (2nd breathing exercise) after breathing in through nose with ears covered…… then says exhale with humming while exhale air out? Out where if mouth closed ? Out through nose?
@NerveDoctors5 ай бұрын
Hi Chris. Sorry for the confusion. AS you hum your body will naturally exhale the air out of your nose. This will happen naturally, so just focus on the humming and yes, your mouth should stay closed while humming. Thanks for allowing me to clarify this. I'm sure you're not the only person that has this question.

What about restless legs syndrome? Not the same as neuropathy. Can anything be done to help this because strong RX’s? 10% of the world population have this. Can ruin your life. How to sleep with RLS? Usually happens as soon as you lay down and can get so bad you cannot sit or lay down. Must walk all night and day until you’re so worn out finally you can lay down. No one knows why you get it or what to do except drugs (magnesium and no processed food can help in some cases but not forever). Can you explain RLS and what can be done to heal it? 😢🙏

This is a great question. We'll be doing a video on this in a couple of weeks but in the meantime, let me get you started on the right path. Many people have come to us with RLS and I can tell you in our experience and in the research, it's always caused by these factors: B1 deficiency, Folate deficiency, Potassium deficiency, Zinc deficiency and lack of EFA's. For our patients we always place them on our nerve support formula Nuphoria cm Gold, because it contains B1, Folate and other essential B-vitamins for healthy nerve function. We then add in a potassium supplement (because you won't be able to eat enough potassium rich foods to get your level where it needs to be at. Although, I most certainly recommend adding in potassium rich foods into your diet. Along with this we place them on a good quality fish oil (EPA/DHA at least 2400 mg) and 400 - 500 mg of magnesium glycinate. YOu can also typically use chamomile essential oil in a carrier oil like Argan or almond oil to help with the twitching spasms. If you start just these things, you should see a large difference in about 3-4 weeks.

@@NerveDoctors Thanks so much for getting back with me. Know I’m already doing most of these with no good results results to date. My naturopath just added pyconagel? To the list. To try 30 days 90% people it’s works on. I still look forward to your video on this quick is coming. I’m in a support group that is worldwide so many thousands of people suffering and have no more life because of side effects from the usual meds prescribed. But after walking for 5 or more days and nights (because you are unable to sit or lay down without meds) most must give in to the meds. Not sure what’s worse??? 😢😢😢🙏

Dr what about Alzheimer's,does it have anything to do with ones nervous system.Is Alzheimer's reversable.?
@NerveDoctors5 ай бұрын
This is an excellent question. You'll see in many of our videos we mention Alzheimer's more and more because it's so prevalent. Alzheimer's affects your central nervous system (brain). Research is now showing there are many things you can do to help slow the progression and even reverse Alzheimer's to a degree. Look at the work of Dr. Mary Newport with coconut oil for Alzheimer's. Also, much has been studied on photobiomodulation and Alzheimer's and I do have to say that DIET is a critical component.

A vagus nerve reset is very helpful for migraines as well. There's quite a bit of research on it.
