This is the first time I'm listening to you. The first thing I notice is your beautiful skin and of course your soothing personality. That alone makes it worthwhile to listen to what you have to say about the vagus nerve, which I've recently been interested in. My nervous system has been breaking down with severe hyperactive thyroid mimicking symptoms including no appetite (live on mostly shakes), weight loss, depression, super hot and cold sometimes at the same time, nervousness, sometimes inner trembling, weak, brain fog. Drs have no clue as to what's wrong with me. I'm a 73 yr old who has always watched my diet, no sugar, alcohol, presc. drugs, and my liver enzymes are in the 60s, GFR high; otherwise all my labs are great. Perhaps you'll continue to encourage me as I try to live each day with a spouse who's not only on the other side of the fence when it comes to politics and well other things too (why did I marry him, right?). He listens to the news every hour and watches it in the evening, always saying snide remarks about Trump and others who aren't democrat. It doesn't help that my husband has Asperger's for which he's in denial. Sorry about my life's story here, but I'm just so happy that I found your channel. I remember years ago my Mom would massage my sister-in-law's big toe on the bottom using the eraser end of the pencil, and it would hurt as she pressed until my sister-in-law's migraine would go away, and it really did. This must be part of the vagus nerve. I'm doing it for myself, so desperate. Thank you so much!!

My nervous system has changed so much from calm to shaky since contracting COVID last February ( which I was finally recouping from) and being exposed again recently activating extreme shakiness and anxiety again. Any suggestions to help are most welcome please. With gratitude, Teresa
@sandtx49132 жыл бұрын
@@thamilton413 hi Teresa, Irene Lyon has a lot of videos regarding nervous system regulation (healing). There also are plenty of exercises to relax the nervous system, but they are temporary. Stress (physical, mental, emotional, chemical spiritual) is stored in the physical body and it will build up over time because we are not releasing that stress. Firstly it's important to start changing your life little by little or as much as you can/is possible or are up to. Become aware what can cause stress/anxiety, not just mental/emotional but also physical, spiritual. Such as certain people, music, movies, books, news, work related, traffic, chemicals, food, radiation/wifi, bright lights. See what relaxes you/inspires you spiritually/touches your soul, what type of music, movies, warm water (baths) park, beach, singing, herbal teas, candles, essential oils, burn incense, massages, sound healing work, hugs. SLOW DOWN! Take slow walks, go to the park. Instead of watching tv, light some candles, burn incense and put on some relaxing music, meditate, practice yoga, breathwork. I like Sam Garrett, Jahnavi Harrison, Jai-Jagdeesh, anything pure, natural, relaxing and touches my soul. Second is to start releasing that stress (healing old traumas and programming). Find what works for you. Follow your inner guide/intuition, trust your body/soul. It know everything you need. Hope this helps you. ❤

Oh, what a priceless information. Thank you so much!! ❤ I'll share my story in case it can help to someone or someone wants to share with me some kind of similar experience 🙂 I was having biliar vesicle inflamation that everytime I had a crisis, normally related to PMS (didn't get to know about the relation between those crisis and that part of the month, but surely there's one...), my vesicle was inflamated but without any reason, no stones, nothing, used to go to the doctor thinking there was something wrong, as it was too painful and used to take 3 days of not digesting food to recover, but doctors couldn't find anything once and again, they made tests and all was ok, so I gave up going to the hospital, spent like this around 10 years!! I was normally tired, bad digestions, like general bad feeling, not matching with the always excellent results of my tests and analytics, so eneded up visiting a physiologist, he asked me if I had an accident ten years ago, I said no.. later on a next visit, I talked about the splint I was using for sleep since I got my orthodontics done and then he asked, "when did you have the orthodontics?", and yes, it was 10 years ago!! Seems the repositioning of my teeth pressed somehow the vage nerve. I rememberd first time he treted the nerve, just putting his hands softly as shown at the beginning of the video, and I felt the energy going down to my vesicle and it was so physically and energetically relieving that like a cough of emotion triggered from my diaphragm and made me cry. A mix of physical, energetic, emotional and mental sensations that completely changed my perception about what we are and how everything that composes us is connected in all kind of levels, even my memory got better, got clearer mind... Since then, all problems went out and I feel as a whole functioning system. During those sessions I learned to understand my body and its energetic channels, it's like if a source of inner knowledge was awaken intuitively and since then I've been growing on that direction, non stop. I even developed some kind of meditation in which I feel my body and by offering no resistance on what my body wants to do, it moves alone into healing, decontracting muscles, reinforcing joins, circulation, I believe it moves toxcity out using certain channels as well, sounds crazy, I know, if you would see some of the positions I make you would definitively think I'm crazy or even possessed 😄, it's the first time I talk about it. Despite all we are as humans and our darkest side, I'm deeply in love and grateful for what we are. I send you all love and light from Spain! 🙌 I must suscribe now ❤

I do want to add that I appreciate very much the information that you share, Prune, and I resonate within my personal KNOWING, with a great deal of what I have seen of what you present so publicly! BUT, on the other hand, I also feel, as I've felt my entire life, that what I refer to as my KNOWING is at odds with so much of the official narrative of what is real and what is true in this world we all live in. And at times it feels difficult to bridge that gap! So this is where my comment is coming from...
