I am half Indian (Punjabi) from America. My Dad is Punjabi and my Mom is Italian American. I love Malai Kofta soooo much, it is my most favorite dish! My Dad doesn't like it though, he says it is too creamy and does not like it. I like to make it at home. :) But I like totally mild Indian food, I don't like hot.

Thanks for tip on substituting cream with cottage cheese and milk. My dad is a heart patient and this substitution made it easy for him to relish this dish. I did not add milk, but added cottage cheese while blending tomato onion in mixer. And then boiled the entire puree once again. It was smooth as the original curry with cream. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
