Thanks for detailed instructions. I made it today and it was really tasty. I used stainless steel roaster with cover instead of the pot you used. But I did seal the lids together with dough as you did. Then I baked this in the pre heated oven at 350 for about 5 minutes and then at 300, for 40 minutes. Then turned the oven off and left the covered roaster inside the oven for about an hour and a half. Turned out tasting soooo tasty and creamy. One mistake I made, I used both yellow and red food colouring to colour the rice like you did, it was a bit too much. I didn't use melon seeds or figs since I didn't have them, instead I used soaked whole almonds skin removed. We liked the crunchiness of this as well. AWESOME recipe with very clear step by step instructions. No fail recipe. Thanks so much.

Chef! I have watched your video so many times and enjoy every bit of it. You are a true inspiration for foodies like me. I really appreciate the historic details you provide about the dish. I grew up eating exactly the same biryani's (minus the fig and nuts) mutton and chicken in almost all functions the biryani was almost white, slowly I have noticed that biryanis have become very spicy and full or red chilly. Even people from Hyd think that adding red chilly is the right way :) Thanks for making the biryani the original way. Love your cooking and always pray for you, God bless you. From Hyderabadi (Khatee dal :))

VahChef My humble tip .. If people don't have biriyani hundi and don't know how to use the dough they can simply use a pressure cooker and use the lid and dum it.. I made the biriyani that way... that taste simply stays in my mouth..

Hi.. he told that while adding nut paste & cream to add only on the top of chicken & donor mix.. cause while cooking.. it will get burn at the bottom..
