Not really. He basically said to buy his guitar lessons, and then plugged a bunch of other youtubers, Like polyphia, they arent really very good, their songs and licks not very memorable, and they just shove beat/pop sounds into their songs. This is all just for money and its...kinda disappointing lol..

As the years go by you discover new music, new players, study music, play for more than 25 years, and struggle...a lot. Then, after a really long time, you punch his name on the keyboard and watch him play. There it is, you are HOME. You can't overgrow Vai man, you just can't!

Wow, I wish I could afford to travel anywhere, but I’ve been very ill since 2018 and am on a very fixed income. This event would be super fun. My service dog and I (+ a medical aide) would totally enjoy getting to see Steve Vai and all these young Talented guitarists. I will never be a shredder, but I appreciate the art and athleticism behind it. There are many takeaways I can still find as a predominantly rhythm player, such as Marcin’s use of percussion on his guitar. I’m always mesmerized by Tim and Scotty as individuals who truly gel when they play together. As a female, I’m also proud and grateful that Steve also includes and respects female players in the predominantly male pro guitar game. It would be SO much fun to take part in this. Kinda sucks not to have money. Ahh, a girl can dream!
