Valdez Alaska Lincod and Rockfish Fishing

Alaska is known for the best lingcod and rockfish fishing on the planet and with it's proximity to the Gulf of Alaska it's no secret why. Team Pautzke flew north to Alaska to sample this fishery with Valdez Outfitters and within a few short hours caught dozens of yellow eye, lingcod and a few small halibut. Armed with Halibut & Rockfish Nectar marinated and Natural Fire Brine herring action was epic as you'll see in this edition of Pautzke Outdoors.

I don't work for Pautzke, but when we "brine" our bait it is salt based to firm the flesh so it doesn't come off the hook as easily and it leaves a fantastic scent trail. We also use "food" coloring to enhance the "eye" appeal of the bait to attract the fish. I would hope, and don't think Pautzke is using a toxic chemical to enhance bait for fishing as it's not needed!!! It's a simple brine and natural coloring😉 We've been using something similar for decades up here!! Unless you know what your talking about, shut your know nothing yapper👎 And yes, Alaskan seafood(fish) is the best on the planet👍 So sweet;)
