This is a fantastic new format. I do have some questions though: 1) There are an awful lot of coincidences in the life of Jaghatai Khan. One someone thought it was funny to swap Jaghatai and Fulgrim, and then suspiciously, Jaghatai is goaded into entering the webway. And now, Abbadon and Vashtor gained entrance into the webway with a suspicious lack of aeldari interference. Where could this be going? 2) more aeldari questions; but the aeldari just seem to randomly attack the Night Lords when Curze is executed. Where could all these random aeldari coincidences be leading?

Angron was made like a paladin to take in suffering, but became a harbinger of it in twisted irony that Khorne probably planned out. Of all the Primarchs, Angron had accomplished the least, was mule-headed, fairly thick and untalented -and soon after discovery on the brink of annihilation, given over to the prospect of getting killed with his gladiator brothers. This utter disappointment of a primarch must have been shocking to the Emperor whos creation was intended for far greater things, but behaved like a neglected bully with severe anger issues: he slaughtered his own legion from the start, just because he got out of bed with the wrong foot, which was every day. His legion was doh-sh!t to him, which he stated over and over. He also couldn't stop whining about how he should have died with his old buddies like a poorly written anime character. His overall tactics consistent of: charge at them with melee weapons, kill a lot of sh!t and move on. Angron also went along with giving his legion the same degenerate brain-rotting archeotech he suffered from. (I think it was) In "The Master of Mankind" that the Emperor invites Arkhan Land to a super secret laboratory where Angron lies heavily sedated in an operation theatre. The emperor asks Land for a second opinion on how to remove the butcher's nails, being at his wits end. He really tried to save his "son". But Arkhan confirms it is impossible and would kill him. They both know that Angron's cognitive capacity is severely stunted and only deteriorating. This is where the Emperor should have put Angron down like a dog (his legion was called the War-Hounds before they became the World-Eaers) However, he reasoned a broken super-tool is better than none. To conlude: IMO Khorne won, the Emperor never failed Angron, but let him of his leash when he should have put him down.

Little while ago I read a post on reddit that explained how angron would have been a far worse threat than even horus and that he would have turned against the emporer even sooner, so the emp chose the lesser of two evils and let them drive the nails in. With the nails, angron couldn't focus enough to plan anything and was just driven to rage kill anyone not wearing the right colors.

It makes 0 sense.

Something I've been thinking about is how the Dionysian spear has the power to reveal the truth, but it seems the Wolves don't know this in the current times. Otherwise it would be pretty obvious to use it to find Russ. I'm sure Logan Grimnar would happily chop his hand off in order to obtain this knowledge. Some speculate also that Isha who is caged in Nurgle's realm is connected to the tree of life. Also the shard of the Emperor could easily masquerade as a human that is sacrificed to the astronomicon and connect immediately at the right time with the rest of his soul. Question about the “warp stuff” that created or was imbued within the primarchs, from reading the Blood Angels’ light/dark conflict about sanguinius and what we read in TEATD of his having no soul. And what we know about the warp having Gork and Mork with various Xenos gods, were the primarchs imbued with the essences of dead gods? Gods no longer worshiped but at one point were Emperor level worship (or close enough), as that would explain the differences between the primarchs’ different powers and abilities/strengths. For instance with Sanguinius is clearly some type of powerful duality god, from a sector of space with the giant red stars alot of C’tans would be very interested in munching down. Any ideas?

Less and question and more wanting to know your opinion on the likeliness of a theory: I forget if it has actually been confirmed, but Cegorach is the most likely culprit for who switched the places between the Khan and Fulgrim. Now, we know that jaghatai and fulgrim have had a strained relationship during the crusade era, but do you think this is a set up for the return of the Khan right after the inevitable introduction of the Emperor's Children in the 10th edition? The last we know of the khan is he rushed into the webway chasing after the drukhari, and as badass as he is even he can't really navigate that place. Could it be that this was all part of cegorach's plan, to bring the khan into his realm, the webways he knows better than anyone, and have him join in his efforts against slaanesh, and specifically Fulgrim?

Have you gone any into the difference between Dionysus and Apollo? There's a lot of references to the two throughout history and philosophy. Specifically Plato, who is considered Apollonian due to his pursuit of "the sun," being the metaphysical forms, and Nietzsche, who refers to his philosophy as being dionysian, in that it is rooted in a denial of metaphysics and rather a morality and ethics based upon human experience. Just curious exactly what is intended by naming the two spears after these two gods that are so philosophically opposed to one another, and what the implications of that are.

I think part of how the emperor made his primarch sons is the accumulation of truly human archeotypes and concepts including legendary figures/gods/emperors etc and put them not just into his sons but isolated them in his custodians, he also blends characteristics together to counteract natural hubris inherent in certain characters, the spear is dionysian and gungnir, both potential slayer and ascender of the one it strikes; could there be a spear of destiny aka spear of longinus angle coming? Piercing the side of the christlike emperor interned on the throne? Or piercing a created grail vessel intended for the emperor's soul or holding a portion already? Notice me senpai!!

Clonegrim is definitely a backup tool for the writers, if they fuck up and give chaos or Xenos too much power to the point the imperium starts to only lose, they can bring another primarch back very easily obvs they'd bring other primarchs like Vulkan or Dorn back before Fulgrim, but they have him in the shelf just in case

God I hope not that would be awful. The only sane thing to keep the setting from spinning off into clown shoes would be just letting the emperor die and become a god or gods. If they bring him back that would be putting a way too powerful piece back on the bord. But killing him allowing him to go to the warp. This would keep the same pieces on the physical bord and would add a new player or players to the great game for controll of of the warp.

So most people say the emporer doesn't want to become a god, I think he doesn't want to return the wrong way. I personally think he wants to become a God of order, his ultimate goal remains the same in my eyes dethrone the chaos gods. If you look at the attempts to kill him and turn him into a God it always seems to be driven by chaos, (atleast what i am aware of) as if chaos would rather have him rise as the 5th chaos God rather then whatever he would become if his grand plan ever came to to be.

I think that the Fulgrim clone plot was intended to be a tragic sort of one-off, and the author did not forsee the kind of longing it would unleash within the fanbase. This proves that it was probably too big of a factor to just include in one novel. The author saw it as something that just couldn't be allowed to go on. But we as fans *really* want it to be. He kicked a hornets' nest by accident!

Did the emperor break himself into “two” or multiple pieces? I’m imagining by the use of the word “pieces” it meant more than two.

But does E want to be revived. He stopped Cypher. Cypher is (Corswin) only reason why this cypher knows his way around the imperial palace. Cause Corswin was in the palace during the siege. The Lions sword he carries. And E told him "not yet". Even a fallen angel who worked with Abaddon and they both said if they kill E. He will become a god and go to the warp and kill the old four. So in a way even Abaddon wants E to become a god.

I don’t think valdor has the capacity to go insane. I think he says any failure on his part as “ I must be better” and throws himself into it. If he feels at all that he failed the emperor, valdor would do anything he can to save him. Remember valdor is now seen as a son by big e. He sees him as a friend. I think valdor is creating an army that is chaos immune. So he can comeback and help his friend. Valdor and Russ had the two spears, and I think that they both knew they were joined by it. I believe valdor and Russ will return. And resurrect the emperor. As to the black king, I believe that the emperor after thousands of years on the throne doing his thing was in fact learning to control the dark kings power. That’s why he does not want to be resurrected until he did. And with return of the two primarchs so far and the increase in the emperors power being manifested by saints and the such he is almost ready. The final question is how will he resurrect. Will he be killed finally and he becomes a full god, or does he reappear as a man with no memory and he has to be found and taught or will his body heal his wounds.
