Valentas + 47813, Shrivenham 23 November 2000

Featuring six Great Western HSTs plus 47813 "SS Great Britain" & 165128. THe HSTs featured are 43164 & 43165, 43002 & 43141, 43146 & 43132, 43139 & 43026, 43138 & 43177 and 43172 & 43144. This was recorded in the post Hatfield era, hence the various temporary speed restriction signs. Hang on to the end - the noise of the opening up of the Valenta engines is, in my opinion, worth it!

yes it was the old great western livery which in my opinion was way way betta than the blue and pink they got now

The sound alone is great! I never much liked that paint scheme. I prefered the 'Merln' livery that came before.
