I don't know what the scene was like in this situation, but from what I understand, Valerie sat in all around this area for fun and people loved her. The musicians may not be the most sophisticated in some ways, but their hearts are usually in the right place around here. She looks happy, that's all that counts.

I agree. I would have let Valerie sing as much as she wanted but I was not the band leader.
