Great music! I wonder if people back then, in 7th, 8th - 14th century made also such pieces of music? I mean, this one here sounds pretty modern but it isn't too sophisticated or difficult for skilled and talented musician. And such people exists now (as we can all hear in this vid) and they existed back then. Also I'm interested in scandinavian flute music from viking era to 13th century. Anyone knows anything?

"I Dreamt Me a Dream" is one of the few secular melodies we have from the Viking age. Church music like "Nobilis Humilis" also survived. You might find these songs interesting.
