VoicePlay is by far my favorite group. I really feel they are the most entertaining!! You can’t go wrong with any of their covers so just pick a song you are familiar with and like and go for it! 😅

This is a top-tier VP number. Some others you won't want to miss are Nothing Else Matters, Hoist the Colours, and Seven Nation Army, but the other commenters are correct--throw a dart at their catalog or pull a song title out of a hat and you won't go wrong.

They rebranded as Voiceplay in 2012; the beatboxer and the bass have been singing together since they graduated from high school in 1997. They were making videos mostly as advertising for their live shows. They toured extensively pre-Covid. Layne, the beatboxer, insisted that there was a future in music videos for them. When the world shut down, they poured all of their energy into the videos. I subscribed to your channel as soon as you reacted to them and I will always be here for Voiceplay and Geoff (bass). He started his solo channel during the shutdown, you will want to check him out as well.

Geoff and Layne have been singing together since middle school, and still act sometimes like adolescent boys (said as a mom of a 16-year-old who's still besties with friend from 4th grade). They were still in high school when they started performing professionally. They and Earl stayed together, attending the same college.

One of the reasons Voiceplay used to get less exposure (and, subsequently, recognition) than groups like Pentatonix and Home Free was their steadfast determination to remain independent of any record companies, so that they were always in charge of all their arrangements, recording, editing and sound and video production - the works. As they've refined and worked on their style and talents over the years, this has now paid off in spades for them, since they've earned a solid reputation for being willing to take risks and experiment with their sound and visuals in ways that those who have to please their recording companies can't. The result is incredible masterpieces like this, and with each new release they just get better and better. Other bangers you need to hear include: 'Seven Nation Army' and 'Creep' (featuring the awesome riffmeisterAnthony Gargiula,) 'The Dragonborne Comes' and 'Dream On' (featuring the angelic tones of Omar Cardona,) and pretty much everything featuring J.None (he used to be a full-time member, but is currently serving a term in the navy, hence their 'guest artist' approach until that finishes, when we all hope he'll return as a full-time member again.)

VoicePlay and Home Free were on The Sing-Off together. My top two acapella groups. YOu have done a couple VoicePlay now you should go over to Geoff (Jeff) Castelluccis' (the bass) channel where he does his own LOW bass covers. As for VoicePlay, there are so many good ones. Hoist The Colors, The Dragonborn Comes, HALO theme, Nothing Else Matters, Dream On. They cover everything from Metallica to Disney. They never disappoint.

Nothing Else Matters, Creep, Dream On, and Seven Nation Army are my fave VP covers. Geoff Castellucci, the bass, also does solo stuff. It’s not acapella but it is in four or five part harmony, and he sings all the parts himself. (Usually. He did one with a guest group). So this particular rabbit hole has a branch, lol. On his solo channel, you’ll find Man Of Constant Sorrow, Folsom Prison Blues (where he shows off his harmonica skills), Sounds of Silence, 16 Tons, Ghost Riders, House of the Rising Sun, and his most recent tour de force, Jack’s Lament from the movie Nightmare Before Christmas among a lot more.

Please dive deeper into Voice Play. Please do a reaction video to Voice Plays latest cover of .. Hell Fire from The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. Voice Plays cover of Dream On originally by Aerosmith is amazing...also Voice Plays cover of Carry On Wayward Son originally by Kansas. Voice Play always stays true to the original but find a way to make it their own. Pick any Voice Play song & you can't go wrong. I am sure they will be coming out with a new one shortly, they do every month.

1st time on your channel and I will be subscribed Mainly for the a cappella groups. The fans of Pentatonix home free and voice play are very loyal and if you start to react to those videos the fans will follow and your views will go up as well as your subscribers. Pentatonic 1 the singoff in season 3 and home free won the singoff in season 4. I believe voice play to 4th in season 4

I personally think that pentatonix are a overrated acapella group. I don't take anything away, they are really good but i think that voiceplay and home free are Better . But this Is my personal opinion
