Fantastic build! The Elder temple is my absolute favorite spot to build on, especially in the bronze age those stone pillars are great for starting a larger base than you'd otherwise be capable of, not to mention all the unique structures it offers.

You can use metal-clad beams inside the stone - this allows you to create gigantic structures with little support

@@sarah4and10 I don't know if I wrote it correctly (Google translate) but I hope something was understandable. Combining dirt, metal-wrapped beams, and stone, I built a base the size of a mountain. And planting a tree on a pole made of earth and enclosing it with stone and beams of metal, I built a tower 2.5 times the height of the growing tree in the game.

i have never used more then 3 portals, i would just mark on the map the name of the portal and just use only one portal just changeing the name to where i wanna go, second would be like farm in plains and mistlands, and the 3rd one with no name for emergency teleports and to go for a quick sleep

That is a very legitimate way to use portals. I often think that's what I am going to do and then wind up with loads of portals anyway! LOL

I have done this a lot too, but I do find myself forgetting to rename a portal before setting out so this playthrough i am going to do the portal hub...

I'd you edit out the time it takes to move thru the portals or are you using some mod? Excellent build btw!

@@sarah4and10 It's not that complicated once you get the hang of it. There are a few videos out there that do a great job of walking you thru the process. I love the one farming mod that lets you plant crops in a 5 by 5 grid all at once!!

Been playing Valheim since release and really wonder why people are so proud of using mod exploits on builds.

Devcommands are not mods. I only used plant everything for adding the vines in the courtyard. But I understand your point of view. Thanks for the comment.

Creative modes are on all these games that have building mechanics. Sometimes you just want to be creative in the games build mechanic instead of spending hours if not weeks to farm up to be able to do it

@phatymcdaddy exactly. This build would have taken a very long time to farm all the iron for! Also sometimes I build something then recreate it in creative mode for the same reason.❤️
