I just finished building my D Lilbet, I got Dragon bride and Harsetti on my last galaxy summons (biggest luck of my entire playthrough) and I need to build them, not mention farming gear for my Atwyn on the headhunt and now there’s Bystandard Hwa Young and Young Senya coming… I’m struggling with gear man… a lot ;-;

I think scythe is the way to go artifact wise, once you go below 50% you get healing and a huge def boost.

I think her s2 needs to have some kind of target priority for her to be good, perhaps highest attack unit like Celine. With her current kit, she can probably oneshot a light unit with her s3, then she kinda just sits there doing nothing until something procs her s2, then she just hits a random enemy and likely just hit a tank and doesn't do much damage. If her s2 has target prio, she can oneshot the DPS with s2 and s3 something like Ruele. I don't think her s3 multipliers will be that high, but the bonus damage against light will probably be pretty high. Otherwise, she becomes a completely unstoppable unit capable of oneshotting most units. So probably enough to oneshot non-light DPS units, but not non-light bruisers and tanks, and should be able to oneshot most light units if built slow and only light bruisers at best if built fast.

Again, she likely won't have high multipliers, and you can't even buff her, she probably won't even be able to hit 10k against non-light bruisers/tanks, so you can't expect her to do what Riolet does. She's not like Celine either, where some top players use the stun EE for the occasional clutch stun as for them, the main role of Celine is to push up and s3, not to kill a DPS with s2. ML Hwa doesn't have any additional utility to her s3, so making it target randomly just means 2-3 out of 4 times it just procs and does nothing at all for you.

I'd say target priority should be elemental-based. Like, her S2 should prio Light targets but in random. But in case there aren't any Light units, her S2 shoul target highest attack. Would that be great? Or way too OP?

@@jddecemlicht2467 prioritize light element alone would be too OP imo. If we assume that her s3 is like LQC s3 and can oneshot most light units, prio light means you'll be losing a unit no matter what and with no real way of baiting ML Hwa. Prio attack means you can bait her with units like Senya or SFlan, or even use it to your advantage with units like Jenua. Another possibility is prio highest HP, which punishes drafting Ruele/Elynav/LRK as the highest HP unit, but can be easily baited by higher HP units like Albedo, Yulha, or even Harsetti. It also means you can hide a light bruiser behind any tank

@richlee6331 true. would be way too OP if that's the case. but with today's meta, ML Hwa will be so hard to play if this kit turns out to be true. she's so slow and while she's immune to debuff, she can't be buffed. she also needs high-end itemization. I hope this kit won't be the real case. 🤣

She needs someone who takes big damage but can survive, like BBK Arby since you need 40% in one hit, so u can just chip dmg your way to win against her

sea phantom politis. you lose out on the enrage value but likely ml hwayoung is built with super high atk to jam her def. in which case you can always dual atk with her and get her more turns.

If her S3 doesn't 1-shot light units she isn't going to be that strong. This unit will live or die on her multis. Remember she can't get Barriers etc either

she's really bad against dot and extra damage, so senya is a hard counter for her, she needs to be able to tank pen units if you don't pack her with ml illynav, so it's kinda hard to build

What do you think of counter set on her? The 20% cr will cycle her s2 (3 turn CD) and s3 (4 turn CD tho not mentioned if she gets cooldown reduction from enhancements) really quick. Her passive doesn't apply to her so the ability to fight off aggression could be useful.

I think atk/pen probably her bis set. my biggest worry is they made her able to one shot empyrean ilynav no buffs, in which case anything not named "dragon bride senya" is in deep doodoo

Every character might have a counter but forcing a unit into a draft where the meta isn't pleasant to them is not just happening. Might depend on what rank you are, but high rank RTA, that's not happening. Take a look at Schniel, almost useless that most people just avoid drafting him even if DDR is picked by opponent.
