Absolutely. In every way it feels like a stage setting, and should be one, not an arcana that takes up your slot. For now I just mod it in with the total+starting arcanas though

You are basically 'wasting' an Arcana slot because Wicked Season is a must have at the start of every game.

Sometimes but seldom. The growrh/curse cumulative effect will still compensate for the levels lost to the unevolved weapon with good odds. It only makes sense to take other starting arcanas when you cannot survive the early-mid game, or when minmaxing the living hell from a stat on your build.

That weapon can take out guardians and bosses quite easily if you move in a straight line and then face back towards the enemy, hitting them with multiple projectiles. It does mean you might take a hit or two from normal enemies but killing big enemies faster can be safer until limit break starts to happen.

I could see the dev implement a mode in steam like the ‚experimental lag fix’ but it’s ‚dex‘s version‘ or something. In there you have all the qol changes dex sometimes comes of with.

This is why I like Random. Most of them give some bit to everything on level up, making them like little unmodded Smiths you can use. Reaching the extreme stats with weapons like these, and King Bible, is quite an experience.

This is a bit late, but you can walk into a wall and get the increased spawn rate without actually moving. I did a similar limit break run where I spent the whole time running into the piano.

you don't have to shoot while leveling up, if you hold a direction while you choose, you can keep your fire trail

This weapon would actually combo greatly with upgraded Santa water. All the enemies would have to take massive Amounts of damage of damage if they want to get anywhere near you.

I remember I literally posted about this on one of the videos, how valkyrie turner breaks the game. If you manage wicked season to get HoF at 11 minutes it does become ridiculous much faster.

@@Horizon_333 It could be because he selects his Level up Upgrade with a Mouse-click and that Fires the Weapon. In that way you can shoot this Weapon in more than the 4 Directions when you fire it with a Mouse-click instead of stopping to walk.

I get two unskipable ads every 90 seconds.. It kinda ruins the watching a lot.. Is that automatically made by KZbin or by you, dex? I know ads are needed but that now is a bit much I would say

Every youtuber puts in slots for ads, that's like a "here an ad could fit", since youtube plays no mid-rolls on its own. However, most people see 0-1 ad segments (as in, 2 belonging to each other count as 1) in a full 40 minute video. The amount is decided upon by the algorithm depending on how many ads are available and how likely it thinks you'll continue watching. When extremes like yours happen, which are a rarity, I recommend refreshing the video or installing an adblocker. The point of placing these slots is that they double the income per video for a cost of 20 seconds, not to spam a few with 20 ads.

@@oliverebbing6637 glad to hear, but it does upset me when I see that I said it a while ago: I wished I could limit the amount of ads per viewer, like a maximum of 2 or 3. When I remove midrolls I drop from below average income in my country to less than minimum pay, so it may be understandable why I don't want that. But when I use the midrolls as recommended where most see just 1 midroll segment, some see insane amounts. Hope the video can still be enjoyed :)

Yeah the unfired projectiles themselves from Shadow Pinion and Valkyrie Turner both deal damaged. Obviously as this video shows, with extreme Area, you can just stand still and rake in kills like it was a weird Limit Break Garlic.

valkyrie turner is a fun weapon, except that you have to constantly do the movement for it for 15-30 min i get sooooo annoyed using it.... that siad, i might have voted for it because i like the idea of it, i just want someone else to do the actual suffering

i would never use this weapon on anything other than library. the ability to only aim in two directions is so impiortant to something that only shoots in one direction

beginnings is better than silent old sanctuary for the shadow pinion/valkyrie turner because amount has a higher impact than the cooldown reduction and might... until you reach limit break and get amount from that. for the shadow pinion specifically, the twilight arcana does amazing damage. for whatever reason, if I have more weapons than just the shadow pinion, it's always gonna be the shadow pinion that has the highest dps and damages at the end, even by 4-5 times if using twilight requiem. edit: to stop moving for an attack of the valkyrie turner/shadow pinion despite increasing the damage isn't worth it because the trail does damages several times for 1 projectile, but the beams/lances are individual hit. remember you can keep holding your direction to prevent them from firing after a level up.
