I too, always marvel at the beauty in things that so many consider mundane. Here in the Midwest, it is green so very much that many don't appreciate what we have. There ARE cacti that grow in the Midwest, like those beautiful red Prickly Pear that you showed us but, ours bloom yellow. The little lizard/ horned toad maybe, was a welcome sign of life in a lifeless area. Thanks for taking us along on your adventure & keep pointing out all the beautiful things that make Nevada interesting. Stay well & happy.

Love the trip to the valley. I have had a pack of Quest sandwich cookies and the same chocolate chip protein cookie. You ate in my pantry for a year and just couldn't bring myself to taste them. They are going into the snack share at work on Monday.

My days of beautiful weather are also quickly coming to an end in Austin Tx so I have been spending a lot of my days outside walking enjoying the spring blooms and nice evenings. It’s very therapeutic. I have also started going to the gym and found I really enjoy running! I’m not very good at it but I still liked it.

Aww your going to be gone 😢 lol I know ....those shows are great when you can binge and not have to wait for the next episode !! Quest bars !!! You have to try the caramel ones !! And I have heard quest is the best for less carbs etc ...Larry and Lenny White macadamia cookie omg great and the made good cookies are super too !! Those you can travel with they are small so if you just want a few bites !! Enjoy the binge watching !!

I was just thinking, I don’t think I could run if I had to right now. The broken leg healed but it just doesn’t seem like things are going to be the same. I’m doing a virtual physical therapy program to strengthen that leg and if there isn’t a lot of improvement, I think I’m going to go through a formal PT program. Valley of Fire is always beautiful. I had no idea Wendy’s was selling chili in the can.

I love to see your trips to the desert, I am hoping to make to that Calico area you went to earlier. Last weekend I drove from Orange County out to Palm Springs and the Joshua Tree to see some wildflowers. Palm Springs appears to be as gay as ever so if you ever want a date, I think that's where you should go. 🙂

They would charge that now, here. The prices have gone up like crazy, since I bought that camera. It's impossible to find shows less than fifteen bucks, brand name jeans are about twenty bucks, and it a shirt has any popular label, it's at least fifteen.
