This is a short guide how figure out what kind of tube kit you would need for the Valoi´s Easy35 to work with your lens. The keys is to measure the close focus distance your lens has. That will determine how many rings it is needed between the lens and the Easy35.
We sell two different kits at the moment: One being for shorter than 100mm lenses and one for longer than 100mm. The Standard tube kit comes with 2x 40mm, 20mm and 10mm tube rings. The Long tube kit comes with three 40mm tube rings.

Looks pretty simple to calculate, love the drawing a "35mm" frame as reference.

Does the easy 35 allow for “scanning” of 35mm slides? I only ever see it demonstrated with strips of negatives.

We will make a holder for slides too - it has interchangeable holders and we are making one for slides :) It will be released later in 2023 and be compatible with the original easy35.

I work with a Fuji 80mm macro lens, diameter 62. According to what you indicate, I could not work with your system, but I have read on a blog they have been able to work with the aforementioned lens. Could I purchase your system with the certainty that it will work? Thanks for your attention

Hi, We haven't tested the lens and therefore cannot guarantee it will work. If you have read about someone using it, it's likely that it does indeed work fine. The problem is the total length of the distance from the front of the lens to the film. You can read about how to measure that with your lens. here: www.valoi.co/easy35lens The distance between the film and the front of your lens when focused on the film you want to scan must be smaller than 230mm. Steps to measure: Draw a rectangle that is 25x36mm (1x1.5") on a piece of paper. Put on your lens and bring the rectangle in focus while moving incrementally closer Once you can only see the rectangle through the camera, measure the distance from the front of the lens to the paper This distance must be smaller than 230mm
