I am in the middle of trying to assemble the unit and I was concerned that I had missed a step. I found the same thing you did, that the part didn’t even exist in the manual. I’ve had mine for about a month, and I love it. My 17 year old son put it together in about 90 minutes, without much trouble although he did complain a little bit about the instructions. I hired somebody to mount it to the wall. I would recommend using lag bolts and washers. We also used spacers, but that was because I didn’t want to cut into the baseboards. I don’t think we would have had to use them otherwise. We also mounted one screw into the cement floor to keep it from moving sideways. I’ve been able to get fully body workouts with this machine, no problem. In fact, I haven’t touched my dumbbells since I got it. For lat pull downs and cable rows, I just sit on the floor which has been fine since I covered the cement floors with horse stall mats. Obviously, I’d prefer a bench with a knee holder for the lat pull downs, but I haven’t been able to find one. My only complaint so far is that the cables don’t pull perfectly smooth, but it’s not too big of a deal. At some point the plastic wheels and/or cables will need to be replaced, and I’ll upgrade them. I would definitely recommend the BD-62. Easily my best COVID purchase.

I know its been 3 years, so it looks like Valor heard the concerns about the wall brakets not aligning due to garages typically having baseboards or obstructions on the bottom. I see with the new B62s the bottom bracket angles 9 inches up toward wall. Maybe that fixed the problem hopefully. Great video BTW.

what is the purpose of having two separate pulleys? you can connect two handles to one pulley and how would it be different? why is it better than a machine that has only one adjustable pulley?
@untappedstrength75483 жыл бұрын
It is mostly for versatility of exercises. You can perform alternating movements. Having two pulleys pan separately just allows for a more natural exercise in my own opinion. However for the types of exercises I perform a single pulley would be all I need.

Thanks for the review. Looking to buy 2 of these to create a crossover setup. Do you think if the units are mounted opposite each other that the pulleys would swivel enough toward the center? I'm thinking of mounting them opposite each other on the sides of my Rogue Monster Lite power rack.
@untappedstrength75483 жыл бұрын

@untappedstrength75484 жыл бұрын
You bring up a very good point as I've been wondering the same. I'd need a hanging scale to really test it out and provide accurate numbers. One thing is for certain, when you pull both cables simultaneously it does feel twice as heavy. So I don't know if when I load for e.g. 20 LBS and I pull one cable if it's really 20 and pulling two is 40, or if it's really 10 and two cables is the accurate amount of 20. May need to order one of those scales to put it to the test.

Are you sure that the wall mounting things aren't at the same level? Would seem ridiculous if they wouldn't be. I think it's more likely that your wall isn't straight than that the mounting things wouldn't be even.
