The wild part is, Bottas and Hamilton both put down killer laps without the tow and Bottas just had a new ICE put in. Which means if Bottas put down a similar lap, with tow, he could have laid down a faster time. The Red Bulls needed to essentially slingshot Max with both Gasly and Sergio to get him in P2…..that’s insane.

Well, I don't think they lose that much % downforce in this configuration, the mechanical grip is still huge, and the corner is slightly cambered. Still, it's amazing to watch these corner speeds, I hope the 2022 cars aren't too slow!

I think it's the other way around, maybe the squares are the tire surface temps and the numbers are the inside tire temps. I think that because you can see the squares change color a lot during cornering while the numbers change slowly throughout the lap, and the surface temperatures changes a lot faster than the inside temperature of the tires.
