@@joaotome40Hey man, you should be damn proud of how much progress you have made!! Such a long streak is extremely difficult when it comes to porn. I used to have a strong addiction, and was part of several forums of online communities. Several people in that chat were addicted to physical drugs, and said that porn was much harder to break free from than any of the drugs they did. You were able to, from pure mental will power, abstain from it that long. BECAUSE YOU ARE A BEAST! Also, it is only a slight set back, you are not going back to point zero, even if may feel like that. Think about it this way, if you are driving from New York to Los Angeles, and you take a wrong turn when you are almost past the California border, you don't drive all the back to New York because you took one wrong turn. You maybe watched for 60 minutes total (the number does not matter), even though there are 525,600 minutes in a year. So that means for 525,540/525,600 minutes you stayed strong. Another tip I have is to always stay humble, and remember it starts with the eyes. It's much harder to turn off porn when you are already on the site. Making the active decision to not watch girls on social media, or even go on there in the first place, is much easier to do. Also, have an identity shift.You are not a porn watcher, it's as simple as that. Saying this to yourself gives much more power than trying to have a streak. Streaks get broken, but you are not a porn watcher so why would you even need a streak? These are some things that helped me along the way. You may have relapsed, but it made you stronger and you will break free from this evil addiction. Great job and I am damn proud of you!!

The Response I got was you need to let them experiment and figure out these things themselves. My response was would you let your son figure out for themselves and experiment with heroin. The longest I've been without porn in the last 17 years is probably 10 days. Most days it's 2 or 3 times per day. It is a miserable addiction that has no doubt destroyed my life in a lot of ways. I've tried quitting many times, but I feel like it has a vice grip on me so strong I'd have to die to get it off. I genuinely don't know how to stop. I know that sounds like a cop-out, but I have no idea. It's available everywhere. If I even have the slightest urge, my imagination starts spiraling until it's the only thing I can think about. I suggest everyone get really into working out and dieting for bodybuilding if you want to escape porn addiction. I'm 6 weeks out from a show, the amount of effort I'm putting in has distracted me from that addiction. Obviously my sex drive is lower due to being low bodyfat and hormones being disrupted, and just overall fatigue. But coming out of this show I'll have a boost in sex drive and energy, and my wife will always be there. I've been about a year clean from porn, and it isnt easy. But if you swap an unhealthy addiction with a healthy one, you'll be far better off.

I feel like porn is a much bigger problem than anyone is talking about. Personally, I found porn before I was a teenager. It’s had a hold on my life ever since. I truly feel like it makes you weaker. I’ve tried to quit many times and during those periods that I abstain from porn I feel amazing. I feel more comfortable talking to others and I feel more motivated and masculine. Porn is a horrible thing and when you look at the numbers of people watching, it’s way more of a problem than anyone is willing to talk about. It’s also such a hard habit to quit because it’s so easily accessible. I quit weed about a year ago and it’s so much easier to stay away from something when you just have to stop buying it. But with porn, as long as you have access to internet, it will always be a few clicks away. To those struggling like I do, you’re not alone. Many men struggle with it and few are willing to talk about it. Be strong, pray to God, and stay occupied.
