Valuetainment how would you network with someone who owns private jets ? My dream is to fly private , I found two PJ owners in my area and I did a little research, turns out they like the New Orleans Saints. I really want to build this relationship for the long term, kind of like a close family friend to them. I’m only 22, I could be their adopted son 😂
@experiment544 жыл бұрын
Bellwether Inspirations well there’s your first problem “I could be their 22 year old adopted son” You’re going in with that energy is going to be a right put off. They will pick up on it like a torch shined into their eyes. You will be broadcasting your neediness and want for free stuff and to be treat like you are something special. Now you’ll most likely reply with some defensive bull that you don’t mean that blah blah but you have already vocalised it which is one step beyond thinking it which is one step beyond feeling it. You should delete all that from yourself so you can move forward. Take my advice or leave it. Peace ✌️

Patrick, my friends passed this on because they knew every item you mentioned was something I innately do. I'm a genie or superconnector, really I'm a giver. I'm also lucky to have the name Casanova and I say I'm spreading love in a new way. Thank you for literally documenting my entire way of being and making it so clear how all of us can cultivate relationships and build deeply fulfilling networks. At the end of the day, my greatest wealth is my network. It's not just who I know, it's who I've been able to give to and how they've benefited from my goodness. I watch all the recent content, yet this oldie but goodie is brilliantly thought out and executed. Fantastic documentation on what comes innately to connectors that get their joy through relationships.

Assuming you’ve read hundreds of articles on the virtues of networking, we won’t waste time trying to convince you of its importance. Think of this post more as a means to assess your current perspective on networking, and perhaps even your prowess.

Just like dating, if you’re networking you obviously have an agenda, whether it is to sell something, find a job or meet new people (or get that second date). That’s cool; the people you meet likely have an agenda too.
@Ame_rodri Жыл бұрын
So, you pretend like you're on a date. lol
@Ame_rodri Жыл бұрын
Here are some simple tips that may help improve your game. Stop talking; ask questions. Not only will you be a more enjoyable companion, you will also gain insight into someone’s unique needs and desires. Networking, like dating, is about building trust and putting yourself out there in the hopes that a person will somehow make your life better. . Don’t burn bridges before they’re built; stay open. Do your best to stay in the moment and be polite, even if you don’t want a second date. If you become an avid networker, you never know when your paths may cross again. It’s easy to pass judgment and assume what people can and cannot offer you…. “Let’s stay in touch!” (… maybe) We all say it, but what does this look like for a proactive networker? Were you listening? Honestly, nothing can replace attentive listening and it also fuels the follow up) It’s a numbers game. You’ve heard the old saw: you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find a prince. Well, that saying has some truth to it. As your network grows, This should be fun! Even if the objective is to elicit another’s time, services, support etc., there’s no reason it can’t be enjoyable
@kk_G2 Жыл бұрын

When he arrived in US, He started to work at the seven eleven then recently , he became a manager of shoe repairer company. I found that people in high places from all walks of life have something they wish the average person who sees them as a celebrity would realize. This, and my sense of humor, has been my key to connecting with some pretty interesting people because not only do those people begin to see you as someone different, they begin to trust you on the basis that you're not likely to judge them or see them the way their followers and fans see them, and through hearing, understanding, and relating to their struggles (especially those of well-known professionals), that can lead to some unexpected and rare opportunities you wouldn't have had otherwise, especially so quickly.

I'm starting my journey with networking but it's so funny making all these mistakes and networking fails but the journey is quite fun. It's great because I don't even have a need to party during the weekend because of how fun networking can be (I'm doing little experiments ATM, I want to be one of the most influential people in my country one day). That says a lot coming from an introvert such as myself.

Major Takeaways 1) Connect with others who can connect you to who you want. 2) Research who you're trying to reach. (Can't be emphasized enough). 3) GIFT yourself to the top. (You need to be creative about this). 4) Take care of your image. Always be presentable. 5) Be shameless. 6) Be visible/relevant. 7) Have credible names build you up. (Ask yourself how you can be of value before making your request). 8) Have a reputation of being an expert. 9) Be extremely helpful. (circle back to point 7). 10) Don't ask for favors too early. 11) Always have a positive attitude. 12) Learn how to develop small talk [Be able to start and sustain conversations about current events, be entertaining (being a creative storyteller helps here), Be funny, be observant about seemingly minor details like their shoes, hairdo, wristwatch] 13) Develop listening skills 14) Send a handwritten note or email right away (after just meeting them). 15) Be a connector and have a diverse group of people to connect others with. 16) Have a solid brand, especially on social media. (Circle back to point 4). 17) Be authentic. 18) Learn how to brag about yourself without bragging about yourself. (There's an art to this)

I like this video as it helps people to find their natural talent in how to deal with other people. Too many people try too hard to be something they are not and do not use their gifts. I just have a suggestion of a no. 7: Learn from Casanova's mistakes and protect yourself from the STDs of business. If you are just a reckless player with no sincere intention and personality behind all this "wrapping" of your goals, it will blow up in your face sooner or later. The later this happens, the worse it will be. And you will constantly be on the lookout for someone exposing you. If you do not really love Michelle and just want to own her, it might still work until it blows up in your face, but find someone or something that really has your heart and build up from there.

I think this is one of my fave vids of yours Pat. Networking is akin to public speaking, it terrifies people. It used to terrify me but I love it now since embracing the fear and having fun with it. The networking types is very cool, I'm going to look into that in more detail, and have some fun with that too. Cheers!

I’m most likely the detective, the success, the man, the flirt. All in that order from most resonating to least… Guess I still need to work on the promoter, connector. But this video is so good Patrick honestly thank you so much. It’s kinda like if you’re good with girls you’re good in business… Keep killin it man🤙🏻

Hey, Patrick! Really appreciate your thoughts and teachings on entrepreneurship. Very generous of you. Quick question: How do you smoothly transition from networking (chatting) to selling during a face-to-face conversation without coming across as salesy, obnoxious or imposing the sale? My goal is to sell my product without them feeling that I connected with them in a friendly way just to sell to them (And it's true, I'd appreciate their opinions, suggestions, partnership, or even friendship outside of the sales process if a sale doesn't happen). (Perhaps a video answer with scripts or specific transitions could be valuable for your subscribers as well)

I am not the star of this video but I do watch a lot of this kind of thing and think I can help. You want to do detective work first. How is what you have going to benefit them? When you are chatting you are building rapport but also searching for hot buttons. Once you find it the presentation is very simple: 1) Here is what I have 2) Here is how it will benefit you 3) Here is what to do next I got this from Frank Kern. If you go in too early this will not work, but if you prepare by giving lots of value and uncover a need for your product this method is both straight forward and highly effective.

I'm watching this video, like, i want to know can i learn something. then i realize i've been using these skills without been aware of it to get my way in life. but, what i'm amazed to find out i'm doing exactly the opposite as i ran onto wanting to be invisible, as i found my comfort zone with myself, alone. this amazes me, as i wasn't even aware of my doing so!
