A sales course would be incredible, especially with this high quality content. There are no good modern sales courses that don't use 90's tactics online that I've found. Thanks for making a difference by using your time to teach others, it's much appreciated.

Oh man! Patrick, you don't know what you're doing to my life. You're beyond amazing...YOU'RE INSPIRING! I'm not flattering you. I mean it. I really do not remember exactly how I stumbled unto Valuetainment, but I've been watching you guys' videos for at least 2 months now & honestly, it's a class. I always learn! I'm just about to climb the ladders of these very tall dreams of mine & I'm trying to constantly self-develop & your videos & channel (as a whole) are really helping me out. One of the tasks I set out to do everyday is to watch at least one of your videos every night before I go to sleep...for the most part I do that. Typically, I watch your videos with a pen & a book to take notes but on nights when I'm too exhausted after the day's work, I just watch the videos without taking notes so that I can at least get the knowledge on the surface & then I come back some other time to the videos & take the notes. Greetings from Nigeria.

It's extremely important for us entrepreneurs to properly sell their product/service if it's truly helping the customer/community. The more information we have, the better we can all be as a whole. I hope this comment encourages you to start a sales course asap. I have watched many videos from many different people, and yours are some of the best. Thank you for your time.

Can you do another video just talking about qualifying questions and how to bring them up? I am not always sure exactly when and how to bring up more personal questions. Do I just start with it, do I ease them into it, do I hint towards it, do I ask a question that leads to them being forced to answer the question I want to ask, etc? The questions themselves I am less worried about, but the delivery is the key and I would like to know your thoughts.

Calculating commissions...so true. That's me!
@kalewis77356 жыл бұрын
Thia is clearly intended for commission based sales. Not all salespeople make commission on a sale. I need help with my hourly paid salespeople. I know what mistakes most of them make: Falsifying or repeating false information about a product, not knowing the tech specs of a product, not knowing what is coming out, not understanding the functionality of a product, using opinion to counter a customer's preference, not listening to the customer and not asking questions that get them to the point. It sounds better when the boss isn't telling them these things.
@mig72902 жыл бұрын
In my humble opinion unless you introduce some commission or bonus structure of they're lazy or shortsighted they won't have the incentive to learn all the product info

How do I qualify people if I cold call. I am selling software at my startup, I pretty much go to YP and start dialing companies we want to target for example CPA firms. I feel maybe there is better way to get list of companies or do you think I am doing the right thing?
@samanthapeters29727 жыл бұрын
Kestas Masanauskas , don't cold call businesses. They will refuse to listen to you if they are busy. Email them instead. That way they can read the email when their not busy, and it gives them time to come up with a reply.

Additional mistake: UNDERSELLING / “leaving money on the table” assuming that your customer or client doesn’t want the premium package or upgrade(s) and so you don’t even give them them the option. That’s thinking small and often through the lens of your own affordability!

So My company sells a product that is completely unique, we sell a meal in a bag of chips. When demoing Business to Customer everyone asks me "what is in it" or "what is it" and I end up talking for a majority of the time to educate them. We end of selling quite allot in a 3 hour period however so I am kind of confused about 80% 20% rule in this case since every time I only end up asking 1 question, "would you like to try a meal in a chip?". I need advice on the kind of questions I should be asking. Btw these are extremely healthy chips that are raw, organic, gluten free and delicious and we sell to people looking for these things.
